Do you need a perfect body to wear a bikini?

I have finally lost all the weight I wanted to since my son was born and actually weigh less then I did before he was born. I have not worn a bikini to the beach in several years because of this. I really want to this year but the one body part that I can't seem to make go back is my lower stomach. It looks pretty good but it is not flat as a board. It actually never has been even when I weighed 95lbs in high school. So it that a total turn off? Should I stick with the one pieces and tankinis? I have a hourglass shape with my breasts being slightly fuller then my hips are. Is a woman still sexy even if she doesn't have a stomach as flat as a board?

A woman can be sexy and pretty, even if she doesn't have a stomach which is flat as a board. I mean, come on, just have a look at celebrities, they all don't have stomach flat as a board, they struggle with the same thing as us, as well.

And you should not be so hard on yourself either, because after all you have just been through an enormous change on your body, all from being pregnant, to gain those extra weight, to give birth even as well, and to take care of the little baby afterwards. In fact you should be so proud and happy that you lost those extra baby weight and that you even weigh less than before. So my advice for you now is just to wear a bikini, because that's what you want, and don't ever think that you are not beautifull because you are, and you should know it. Spend the summer with your child, have happy moments and a fun time. And literally, just wear what you want. :)

just find a bikini that flatters your shape. stay away from ones that hug your hips. use one that has full coverage so it covers your lower stomach. or try a retro swimsuit, I think those are so sexy! here are some links:

this one is perfect because you can show off your upper stomach while concealing your imperfections! (btw I have bought swimsuits from this site before...they are complete magic. they suck in all my imperfections and make me look 2 sizes smaller! just be weary of the color, mine was a way different color than it was online.)

I think it's all about how you feel wearing them...

I'm really thin.. and tall and a flat stomach blah blah blah... But I feel so uncomfortable in a bikini that I don't wear it... because my lack of confidence would make me look bad in it... and I would be self conscious about it all the time...

SO, if you're gonna feel bad about your little tummy, then for your own sake, don't wear it... because although no one will notice, you won't be comfortable with it...

On the other hand... a little tummy is NOTHING! To worry about... I'm sure you look fine in a bikini... ANd maybe all you need a nice cut and a boost of confidence... Or you can even try those cutout one pieces... they are so sexy! ;)

I say if you feel comfortable go for it. I think your probably over analyzing you body, as most women do. You don't need a perfect body. If you can't see your bikini bottom because your belly is blocking the view, it would probably be best to avoid the bikini. I think you'd probably look very nice in a bikini.

No it does not hang over the bathing suit bottoms at all it is just not flat like a models. Thanks though I feel better about it.

In a man's eye, 90% of the bikini is attitude. The willingness to show your body makes it sexy. Now, if you were 350 pounds, that would be a different story, but you're normal and a mother. Most women have little tummys and I, personally find them cute - if they're not overweight tummys.

Nobody has a perfect body nor do I think any one person could create a picture of the perfect body. Who cares how much you weigh and how you look in it. Of course you should wear one! I wish I had fuller legs but I don't and I still wear a bikini. In my eyes, women who have full legs are beautiful. Screw what everyone else thinks though. It is all how you feel in it.., afterall you're the one wearing not the other guys or girls.

Yes! You don't have to have a flat stomach in order to be sexy or to look good in a bikini. Lots of guys love curves. The main thing is to be confident and proud of how your body looks. You just had a baby too, it's going to be difficult to get into tip top shape. But no worries, the vast majority of guys prefer a woman with more meat, rather than a woman whos rail thin. Embrace it and have fun showing your body off! ^_^*

Girl wear your bikinni!...you deserve it. If you feel self concious--wear it with a cover-up (maybe the ones with fishnet.) You lost weight...you should reward yourself and be happy! Go for it and enjoy the weather!

in my opinion it sounds like you should wear a bikini...I think women with curves and who have a fuller look should wear bikinis...also its a good statement for the younger kids..saying that's it ok to be yourself and be happy with yourself just that way "god" made you.

Ok well there are woman who are 300 pounds who really shouldn't wear bikinis and there is you who should wear a bikini... I don't believe there is a "perfect" body but aslong as you are comfortable and confident it sounds like you would look fine in a bikini
