Do you think East African women are one of the most underrated in terms of beauty/attractiveness?

Whenever people think of Sub Saharan Africans or Black people in general, they only think of West Africans. Not saying that there are no attractive women in West Africa but they look slightly different in facial features from East Africans, despite having identical skin tones.

Yes East African women, Somalis in particular are some of the most beautiful women in the world and it’s so sad many of them are forced to hide thier beauty because some Somali men can’t control their urges/don’t want others to look at their Somali women. In addition, Ethiopian women are beautiful as well. There's Ethiopian restaurant in my city that I frequent, and every time I'm there, I fall in love with someone else. But I am pretty sure both Somali women and Ethiopian women will give me dirty looks if I even dare to speak to them. I get the feeling majority of Somali women and Ethiopian women will dismiss me as ugly weird human being just because of the fact that I am a Southeast Asian male.

I don't know about the difference between East and West Africa but I think black girls are really underrated. The girl with the smoothest and nicest skin I ever dated was black. And maybe some people would suspect otherwise since perhaps some blemishes appear more prominently on dark skin. But she had the smoothest skin I ever experienced. I was in love with her skin. And she had such a lovely voice with a musical quality to it, and she could dance so beautifully.

Maybe I am biased because my first girlfriend in the US was black. But I don't understand why other guys don't like this, at least for the slim ones.

I got teased a lot -- people saying like "jungle fever" and all that. I hated it so much.

That said my mother disowned me for dating a black woman, she said she is not "like our kind", and I realized at the moment she how dumb she was as a white woman who married a Japanese man and not realizing the hypocrisy of that statement. So I disconnected all contact with her... anyway, sorry for rambling, but I think black women in general are underrated.

Yes. My mother is white American -- from West Virginia.

I have never quite fit in perfectly in Japan.. people called me "The American". Then later I went to the US and people called me "Japanese". Maybe because of that I found women who weren't of mainstream appeal like black and natural red-heads so pretty. They weren't mainstream, and I wasn't either.

I remember first time I set foot in the United States, I saw a girl who was black, and one who had natural red hair with the freckles and everything.. and I was so drawn to them because they looked so different from anything I was used to seeing. I wasn't that impressed by blonde since I had seen them on fashion billboards in Shizuoka, I knew they existed in advance. But black girl and natural red hair was a type of human I didn't know to exist before that, and I was smitten for both.

There are some white German guys who are married to Kenyans, Tanzanians and Ugandans, but I have yet to see any with an Ethopian, Somalian or Eritrean.
