Shaving the chest and back/stomach is very much encouraged and demanded by women everywhere while shaving the legs is considered gay/effeminate by women as well as men.
Why so?
I don't really have a clear opinion on this. I don't prefer, and I certainly don't demand that a man shave his chest, back etc. I honestly prefer him not to shave anything other than his face. I also like facial hair if it's groomed. As long as a man keeps himself clean, healthy etc. I'm good. Now if he by chance prefers to shave, then again, that's up to him. If he wants to do it for himself, I'm all for it. If he wants to shave his legs, go for it. I just simply don't have a preference either way. Society has become overly obsessed by body hair.
You would prefer natural hairy legs and thighs even if it is very hairy as in the second picture?
Yes.
There is no need to, but if it makes them happy, go for it
A bucket list item for my boyfriend is to shave/wax/whatever all of his hair one day to see hiw it feels, since every time I shave my legs I talk about how amazing all the fabrics feel 😂😂😂
Hairlessness looks sexier even in men?
Whatever makes him happy to do with his body is sexy
Confidence and happiness is sexy af
If he likes the way he looks shaved better against society seeing it as feminine, that personality aspect of being able to say "fuck the world", that secureness in his sexuality,
THAT
That is sexy
Which attitude is better?
Shaving neck to toe despite it being seem effeminate... or keeping his whole natural hairiness even though is too much of hair from what it's acceptable in society?
That answer varies depending on the guy
No topic is straight cut
Happiness is the answer
Thank you for MHO, hun!
Well I'm not really sure why you made this a poll, since none of your options actually resolve the question you asked-- to answer your question, I guess simply because it's a girl thing to do, so when guys do it it's seen as not-the-norm. That simple. I don't really care though; I don't shave anything but I trim everything, including my legs once every month or two. I think it looks better.
You trim it very close?
Very close on the stomach and chest and my ass; longer trim on the arms and legs.
Well... it's widely accepted as fact that smooth, soft, hairless skin is an epitome of femininity. By wishing to attain such skin, people can assume that you wish to be feminine. But then again, you just need to look what is considered manly and what is considered womanly.
It's all bs.. right?
What do you mean?
Bullshit
Again, what do you mean by that.

Because society and social norms tell you how to dress, behave, have your hair etc etc. Do what you want and don't listen to anyone that doesn't agree... they aren't worth your time
Thanks!
by the way as a woman would you like shaven or natural if it's as much in the second picture?
You are the kind of girl who wants smooth hairless chest and stomach... but prefer natural legs and arms.. even if too hairy?
Not sure lol
Why is it this way! Lol
I have no idea.
What would you prefer... a man with hair all over all natural including hairy chest, legs as much as the second picture... or all shaved including legs?
Haha
Diplomatic answer, isn't it...
How about giving undiplomatic answer!
Mysteriee you are a nonconformist?
I think it's because it's more commonly practiced by women or believed to be.
Personally, I've never been a fan of body hair and hate the look, even on guys, though it does look better on them, than women.
The shaved look, looks better on both genders, I think and shaving can also bring out muscle definition, which can look more masculine.
I don't mind either way. I have dated guys with hairy chests and hairy legs and then I dated a guy that liked to manscape whenever he felt like it. Either way I got used to it and never minded it either way. I know the pains of ingrown/thick rough hair (after shaving - its's never soft again), but I know it can make the guy feel better to not have hair because they are used to it and look better. Hygiene is most important. Hair tends to be less hygienic.
Anybody who cares about their partner’s body hair doesn’t really love them.
I love body hair and find it sexy.
My boyfriend shaves most of his off and I still find him deathly sexy.
Damn wow... it's s different scene altogether. You like hairy men but your boyfriend keeps himself smooth shaved... interesting!!
He even shaves legs?
Everytging except his arms and legs but his arms and legs grow very thin light hair.
Those ideas depend on the place and time one leaves.
It is like the definition of being clean or dirty, in some countries one is considered to be clean even though he/she doesn't take a bath everyday, but in others is considered to be dirty. Of course, those definitions are also based if in the country the water is abundant, how do odors travel through the air, or if taking a bath everyday doesn't threatens the health cause the water is freezing.
Because, usually, only girls do that. It's the same reason guys don't normally wear skirts, dresses or pantyhose, even though there's no other reason why they shouldn't, even though MANY men throughout history have worn skirts, dresses and tights as completely normal and expected attire.
I would like men shave minimum their legs and arm pits, honestly. The rest can be their choice. Except I dont personally like beard or torso or anything... either.
You basically prefer men to shave it all face to toe!
Lol
Well women do, so I dont see where's the problem. ... Also in some countrues in Europe thats a standard. Most proffessional sportsmen are required to as it looks ugly on tv... so- so what? :)
Thats completely wrong, they do it because its easier to receive sports massages for that. Its not even required I think.
@esotericstory
Actually you're right, its not required for every sport. But I think there are some where it is - and sometimes its the fact hairs create feeling of burning that they ecperience while in close-next-to-skin suit, and it can create itching and distraction which is really bad for performance. Example: skiers, ski jumpers, figure skating, balletans...
by the way I didn't reply to original question... I dont think its gayish or epheminate, but maybe it depends where you are from. ? :) There are different standards of beauty across this planet...
Exactly what I mean here... a complete confusion about what men and women are. Oh well.
Then they pipe and complain, 'where have all the good men gone?'' lol
@Browneye57
"Good men" is supposed to describe their heart and ethical values though, not do they have hairy bodies, no? :)
You want men to be just like women. Said so in your first statement here. FAIL
@Browneye57
Women also have hair naturally on their whole bodies. I mean. We are just alike, sorry to disappoint you. The question is why only women should do the effort? Women are also very visual and like shaved. The rest is men's selfishness to invest same amount of effort to make the other side happy.
And you cannot make this about modern day trends. In ancient Greece or Rome - did you ever see a sculpture where men had any hair except beard? Even paintings. Lets go a tad bit further in the past, as Egypt lasted longer. In ancient Egypt men were removing their hairs just like women. Furthermore men who were priests in Egypt were obliged to remove evetything except eyelashes including eyebrows. Egyptians were also the ones who invented waxing, few types of. In ancient greece it was a standard of beauty but apparently warriors didn't follow it, probably due to predictable psychological effects.
Hence, your statement fails more than you understand, not mine.
You're also not that bright, are you? Oh well. TTFN
@Browneye57
You have a huge generation bias dont you.
Sad. FYI my IQ is near the edge of genius. What can you brag about when it comes to yours?
So is mine. What else ya got?
I got forty years of marriage, couple's coaching, marriage seminars, a degree in personality typing, thousands of sexual encounters, raised 3 children whom are brilliant self sufficient adults.
Hmmm... I could go on, but you get the point... there's no competition. A plethora of knowledge and experience. Maybe you could listen more and run your mouth less and you might learn something.
@Browneye57
YOU with all your knowledge, sorry to say, with due respect to your years, CANNOT "teach" ANYONE what they LIKE. Fullstop.
That's what you think. Silly little girl. LOL
@Browneye57
Thanks God Im not that old and getting to be impossible like that. Thanks God. :)
My leg hair is moderate. I don't shave there because my wife likes it.
How do you know she likes your leg hair?
(Married...) from the way she touches / caresses them during intimate time.
She touches your legs hair fondly.. by her legs.. or even rubs her hands through them?
Mostly with her legs when we cuddle. The friction feels good to me too.
(Not hair by hair, but slow long sweep)
Do you think your legs hair feels good to her against her hairless skin?
LOL, she stop shaving after kids.
But she's not thick.
By virtue of us doing the same act for years shows we enjoy it together.
Actually we're very vanilla. Our lovemaking has reach a level where we don't really crave adventures.
I don't shave my arms, but I shave my legs and everything else because I like myself that way. Oh and no I am not gay.
High five!
Have you ever heard gay comments due to it?
Thing is, only the girls I'm in a relationship with tend to know that I shave, and they are always thrilled by it. No guy in my circle had the idea to comment on my legs while I was wearing shorts or something, so no, I do not get gay comments
Women absolutely love shaved smooth legs, yeah?
Not all, but usually yea.
All the ladies you were in relationship with were excited about smooth male legs?
Hardly matters much. I prefer the look of at least trimming, but it's not a big deal.
IDC to be honest. I shave my armpits, facial hair and pubic hair. I don't shave my legs cuz it's a pretty large area to do so. Always wondered what it is like to have smooth legs so I might do it in the future.
That’s just a standard of society, and most people’s viewpoints are subconsciously influenced by those standards
Men should shave it if too much hairy, right?
because women usually do this and when guys do it, it is considered feminine and people think if you are a male who is feminin then you are gaish
It's all myth and bullshit... right?
yeah, expecially in this modern world
As a girl you would prefer shaven over too much hairy as in second picture?
i think second pic is fine really:D
Honestly I don’t care I’m fine with either way. A lot of people just judge nowadays.
You prefer shaved over too much hairy?
If you're not a competitive runner or cyclist then yeah, for sure.
On update...
Ya got a bunch of barely legal snowflakes that don't even know what they want or like - it's just all about the FEELZ.
If you try really hard you can be just like them!!
I prefer a hairy man if that’s his natural state. Unless you have a reason to shave.
In special cases where a man is very hairy it's okay and manly to shave?
I’d rather him just be hairy.
I’ve only ever seen one man that was TOO hairy and he had arm hair that looked like shrubbery piled 4” or so above his arm.
That being said, I’d rather hair than no hair. I just don’t like the idea of the time and effort it takes to dedicate to shaving.
Doesn't too much hair especially all over the body look unhygienic mess and dirty wild?
O well this very hairy man still had the guts to wear half sleeve shirt and expose his arms publicly?🤔
I guess it depends on how he keeps up with himself. Doesn’t look dirty and wild.
I’m not sure... I’m referring to my piano teacher when I was like 8. But yeah he left it exposed to see. It’s hot as hell where I live.
It might be a disgusting sight to see euoee hairy arms in hot sweaty summers...
Yeah!
People stared at his man fur?
People say that, but I find it gross all that hair, I would shave it all off if I had all that hair, fortunately I don't have any body hair. But I still get teased having a body like a woman. But the girls in my life all love the look thankfully !!!
Wouldn't it be simpler just to admit that you're gay? If only to yourself.
How am I gay?
I do shave my head but I'd never shave my legs and definitely not arms. Who the fuck shaves their arms?
You wouldn't shave it if it was too much hairy as in the second picture?
No. I'd rather look like a gorilla, than a pig, like the guy in the first picture.
You would rather prefer to look like the second guy instead of clean smooth male? y
Correct.
Wouldn't it look messy?🤔
I hate body hair and remove it all. I don't give the first fuck what some wannabe macho prick thinks about it. None of the women I have been with like it.
