Some women pierce their nipples to increase their breast and nipple sensitivity.
I had my nipples pierced when I was 23 but after a year of having them I took them out because they hurt like hell.

It's a trend just like most piercings. plus it's more for the person who will see them when their clothes aren't on.
Because piercings aren't just for everyone to gawk at? Males get their penis's pierced.
I think personally there sexy and its more for looks i guess.. mabey the partner likes them.. or they wear see through clothing , or they have smaller breast and can where shirt, tank tops , etc without bras and they are visible.. mabey girl like the attention
