Ladies: How do you feel about a beard on a man?

Question

So first, let me say I've had a beard of some sort, forever. I was literally born with a beard. It was in the News and everything. I have zero intention of getting rid of it.

But I won't be personally offended by any beard haters our there.

Second, when I say "beard" I mean a relatively short, well maintained, traditional beard... kinda like Mr. Sterling Archer here (the gentleman wielding the broken bottle) .

So when I say beard; I do not mean those awful scraggly serial-killer beards, or those ridiculous hipster/lumberjack beards, or any beard grown on the neck. Everybody already knows that nobody likes those beards. They're terrible.

Basically, I'm debating whether or not to expand the amount of beard on my face.

Then I got to thinkin... I wonder how the ladies feel about beards generally. So here we are. 🤔

Personally I am not a fan of them: I don't like kissing or cuddling up against a guy that has steel wool on his face! Give me a smooth faced guy any day.
But I know plenty of women that do like guys with beards so it's a personal taste. If you're happy that way, go for it man!

For me if a guy has a beard he immadiately gets 10x more attractive. I wish all men had at least a little bit of beard.

Facial hair is masculine and some guys can really pull it off sexy. I never put it down as long as, like you said, it’s well maintained. A short stubble or a thin line around the face (not near the lips, just around the face) is attractive. Overall, I think it’s sexy if it’s well taken care of

I love a nice sexy well groomed beard! In the past I'm made out with guys with beards and I just loved running my fingers through and gently tugging on it ( if it's long enough lol). I love it beards are hot to me just gotta make sure it's groomed.

I mean, beards have been a beauty standard on men for the past ten years or so. So obviously most women (not counting teenage girls) will like them. Unless you've been living under a rock and this is news to you.

I like them. I've liked them since way before they became to popular.

My guy had a beard... kinda long to... but the way he styled it made it look shorter than it was... I thought he looked great with it... then he shaved it because it's summer and we live in freaking florida... he still looks really attractive and manly in my opinion

Every women’s taste is different so I can’t speak upon them but I will give you my opinion on my attraction. I love a man that have shaven a few days before and a three day growth has come in. It’s sexy to me and I love the feel when he rubs his face on my naked body.
I don’t like a man with a full beard because to me it hides to much of his face and I personally find the face of a man the most attractive that’s on the outside. Obviously who the man on the inside is what matters most, but I’m just saying what outer appearance I like.

I honestly like beards. For some odd reason, I find it hot on a guy but it just has to be well maintained. Like if you can trim it so it won't be so scruffy and just long then i wouldn't mind

It depends on his facial structure. Although I would be very concerned about cleanliness. I just read an article about how an “average” beard contains more germs than a public toilet seat. I don’t know how true it is. But it kind of grossed me out.

My boyfriend has a lovely beard. He generally keeps it fairly short and I love running my fingers over it. It's just a bit annoying because he has really thick patches of beard hair by the corners of his mouth that are a bit irritating for kissing

Don't like beards as they are too scratchy and guys do not tend to keep them neat and trimmed. Plus I don't want to taste what they had for lunch when kissing.

I think some facial hair/a light beard looks good on just about every guy. Oh, except when the beard is a very different colour from the rest of the hair. Then it looks odd.

It depends on the guy and when it does it most likely looks best groomed or clean shaved with edges smoothed out, looking fresh. 😍 others look better without it and it helps make them look younger😉
