If my partner felt uncomfortable with what I wore for whatever reason, I would prefer if he told me so we can address it together. That doesn't mean I'm going to pat his head, tell him I understand and go change. The way I dress is something that I consider to be a possible depiction of my personality. If I'm going out with the girls, I'm going to want to look jaw-dropping. Not because I crave validation or because I want the eyes of the opposite sex on me but because I CAN dress-up if I want to, experiment new looks and get opinions on what works and what doesn't.
What I would do to appease my partner is simply try and get him to understand that I'm dressing up for one person and one person alone: ME. I don't expect him to like it or agree with it but I do expect him to respect that. A relationship, to me, is based on mutual trust, respect and communication. I'll know that our relationship is strong if my deciding to look good or whatever else does not make him feel uncomfortable or suspicious. The same goes for if he randomly decides to deck himself up.
I refuse to allow myself to drag along a relationship that does not have trust embedded in it.
I think he can have an opinion but it's up to her. My man met me dressing sexy. Meaning I'll wear low cut tops, tight clothes, style my hair and wear makeup. It's just makes me feel good when I look good. But he knows that it's just me and I'm not doing it to get hit on. But I do like that he likes me that way so it works with us. I would have a problem if he had met me that way and felt he had the right to change me because he's worried about other guys finding me sexy our hitting on me because he should trust I will turn any other guy away. He dresses sexy in his own way wearing snug Jean's that show he has a nice a$$ and a tight shirt showing he's fit and his toned muscles. I have no issue with it. I'm attracted to it. Just as he's attracted to me and the way I dress.
I dare say! If my boyfriend had issue with me going out late to the gals knitting circle in my cable knit sweater, khakis, and loafers, he'd get quite a talking to! J/K it's more like, try it. Literally try to tell me what I can and can't wear especially if as he claims, he trusts me. If a person wants someone totally buttoned up and under their thumb, they will find that person, but I'm my own woman and I will dress how I'd like especially if I know it's just me going to have fun with girlfriends. We're trying to outdo each other not attract some weirdos in a club.
I think a more valid question, from a mans point of view, is why would you dress "sexy" for a girls night out in the first place? If most guys are going out with their mates they'll just wear whatever, they're not going to make some kind of special effort to look "hot" - unless they're going somewhere where there'll be women and they're hoping to get lucky...
But men and women have different motivations, and do things for different reasons; But because we often don't understand what those different motivations / reasons are we just ask ourselves, "well, why would *I* do that?" so we project our own motivations onto the other person.
And that's where you get misunderstandings. So in this case the guy would think, "the only reason I'd get tarted up like that was if I was hoping to meet someone and get lucky, therefore that must be why she is doing it, therefore now I'm jealous/angry/insecure/whatever"

If she want's to wear something, she's completely allowed to, but if her man feels uncomfortable with the way she's dressed for girls night out its up to her to either ignore it or do something about it
It depends on how much she cares for his feelings in this regard
Same with her not having a say who he hangs out with / talks to while clubbing or at work for that matter, but if she feels very uncomfortable with some girl around her man, it's up to him to decide that her feelings matter more at that point

If you're in a commited relationship, why do you have to dress very sexy? Especially for a girls night out?
You can dress well, you don't have to dress sexy. You dress sexy because it makes you feel confident and you feel confident because you know all the guys are looking at you... You will likely get a lot of attention, which is something you should be avoiding as a someone that's in a relationship.
It's a simple matter of respecting your partner and not making them uncomfortable. You probably don't want a bunch of horny girls talking to your man either.
Girls never understand because guys never get that kind of attention or have outfits that are so sexy and revealing.
I dunno, try imagining your boyfriend is bisexual with strong gay leanings and he goes with his friends to a gay bar wearing tight booty shorts and an outfit that screams "fuck me". Would you like that?
No definitely no man should tell a women how to dress. My husband has attempted to tell me not to wear something cuz it was too sluty so instead I acutally changed into something even sexier and more slutty just to piss him off. He now knows better then to tell me how to dress
I think if your going to disregard what he is comfortable with then that is a really bad sign for the relationship. If she is walking out wearing something incredibly revealing that is her saying to the world that she is looking for male attention and potentially sex. That is just as bad as going up and flirting with a guy. If your wearing something more revealing for girls night out that your not wearing for him, again, this is a big issue. So can he tell you what to do? No. Should his opinion matter though? Yes absolutely because if he blew off her opinions and things that made her uncomfortable we wouldn't even be having this conversation, he would be viewed as uncaring and not a good partner.
I was torn between A and B but ultimately chose A. The reason is because of different perceptions. A guy might find what she is wearing to be too one that attracts too much attention but it covers her well. I don’t think a woman should have to deal with a mans insecurity on this issue.

Yes, he should. If his girlfriend is going out in a ridiculously sexy outfit and advertising herself as single and inviting men to compliment her and hit on her all night, he should be concerned and he shouldn’t be afraid to say “I’m not comfortable with this.”

I don’t mind my husband having his opinion on what I wear generally but sometimes he puts his foot down and tells me to get changed (I don’t get to leave the bedroom until I’ve changed lol). Usually it’s because it’s not conservative enough or it shows off my figure too much for other guys to be able to see (not that anyone is even watching). My style has dramatically changed and it’s a good thing he never saw me when I was 18-24 (mid-thigh fitted dresses, mini skirts, shorts for daytime and for nights out with the girls (just change the shoes) and fitted shirts with jeans and heeled boots). Even my fitted work dresses got hit with criticism for being too head-turning lol It’s not even possible to look sexy in my line of work as it goes against you.
I chose B. With that said I also think it depends on how their girlfriend/wife dressed prior to their relationship. Is she the type of girl that always dresses hot/sexy no matter where she goes and no matter what her relationship status is? Or is she the type of girl that rarely dresses hot/sexy except for when she's trying to get a mans attention. If she rarely dresses hot/sexy then the guy should have every right to say something and expect her to honestly consider what he is asking of her. If she doesn't honestly consider and dresses provocatively on a girls night out when it's rare for her to do so. . . then that relationship is probably over.

No. And if he has a problem with how she dresses, it makes me wonder why he's even with her in the first place. If it's such a big issue, you shouldn't be with that person if the way they dress makes you uncomfortable/jealous.
"Girls night out" usually means grinding on other guys and flirting with them for free drinks/food. And if she dresses provocatively it just makes it even easier to realize what a cheater she is. She is just trying to get other guys' attention.
And the ones that say they just like dressing that way, they are liars. If they just liked dressing that way then they would also do it on the days when they are just staying home all day too. Easy to prove what liars they are.
Even when I used to work with almost all women they would be talking to each other about their girls night out of flirting and grinding on other guys (these women were married and had kids too) for free drinks and food. Just a bunch of cheaters.

It depends on what you mean by "sexy". There are hundreds of ways you can look sexy, so if you choose to look like a sexy hooker expect an objection on his part.
When you are single you can do whatever you want you do reflects only on your self. But when you are in a relationship you have to think about how your actions reflect on him.
You going out like a hooker reflects badly on him to, also when he dresses badly/inappropriate it reflects badly on you. Your choice of partner tells a lot about you.
Showing restriction on both sides show's that you are putting effort in the relationship, selfishness does the opposite.
Honestly, I would question her motivations for going out in the first place if dressing "sexy" is a higher priority than her husband's emotional security. And no I don't dictate how woman should dress in a relationship. But if she's hitting the town without me, then I know how other guys will act around her, I know their games, and she knows them too. So why she would invite those games to begin with can only indicate to me that she WANTS to play them.
A woman shouldn’t be with a guy who’s going to object to what she wears for girls night to begin with. But to answer the question, no. And if he says something anyway, fine but it doesn’t mean she has to listen.
