It is a trend in my country for famous women to have breast implants. In other parts of the world other plastic surgeries are very common as well. I am not completely against plastic surgery, but many of these people were already gorgeous. I noticed they also get more attention after plastic surgery.
For example Antonia Iacobescu. She was very beautiful naturally, she has a great body for someone who gave birth 3 times. She had a small boob job a few years ago. It was minor and she looked good with it. Now she made her boobs even bigger to the point it looks unnatural and people are liking her more now... I think she looked better before and she didn't need any of it. I appreciate she is honest about doing it, but I don't understand why it is a thing.
Why has plastic surgery become more valued than natural beauty?
First is that women can fix their issues with themselves with a quick surgery. Most of these issues stem from self issues such as hate the appearance of the nose or breasts etc. Surgery fixes that.
Second women are tailoring what they do to themselves based off what they see as beautiful, what they see other women look like, so bigger breasts etc, if that is seen in media often and it appears that women with those bigger breasts are more wanted by men then you're more likely to find women getting breast surgery.
Now, you can throw hate if you want, but most women say they are doing it for themselves not to attract men, yeah right. If that were the case they wouldn't do it in the first place, there wouldn't be enough numbers for a worldwide industry. No the truth is that most women do it out of a narcissistic tendency to be the best looking person in the room as that guarantees the highest form of validation, attention from the most desirable men or the most attention from the highest number of men.
What is often the case though is that it never actually fixes any issues that a woman perceives to be wrong with her, mostly the issues are mental and not physical, so it's often true that when one surgery has been completed and healing has finished that woman will then look to fix other parts or improve upon what was done before.
Here's the point though in that it never addresses the underlying issue which is that for some reason she feels she isn't good enough, that attention from the one person who values her as she is, is enough.
It is often said that women compete against each other and compete far harder against each other than they do against men so it isn't too far to understand then that many of women's issues related to their self image stem from insecurity about themselves when they compare themselves to other women.
For most men then, how a woman looks is only about 20% of the initial attraction, that itself quickly fades away, I myself don't seek validation for myself from other men nor other women so as much as I have been told I'm very attractive I don't see it.
What then happens when a woman meets somebody like me, who might well be attracted to her but is aware that her attractiveness is fleeting and is more interested in her as a person, how she treats people, how she speaks, moves, behaves towards myself and others.
I have met women who, if you want a scale meet about a 3/10 who I have spent a long time with because while they weren't considered attractive they had a quality about them I couldn't stay away from and similarly met and dated women who hit 9/10 and spend no more than an hour with because their behaviour, entitled attitude was so draining and proved them to be so low rent that nobody wanted to sit in the same room as them.
So to back up your statement then a wand natural beauty counts for far more, but to add that it's her feminism that is the ultimate attractor, that she can be gentle and caring and calm, to hat she had grace and poise. You can't enhance those things with surgery
Because the fashion industry had drilled into everyone that the absolute minimum norm is the stereotypical image - Perfectly sized nose, puffy lips, big boobs, thin waist, boob-counterbalancing butts and not a single strand of body hair anywhere. This has been leading up to such a pathetic situation where on one end, little girls, five to eight year old girls are getting depressed about not getting their makeup perfectly right! On the other end we have working women, young mothers, mid-aged women thinking that if they don't adhere to those exact requirements, they'd become invisible. Being a guy, I can tell from my experience of living with tons of guys in the college dorms, majority (of course, not all) of the guys have zero preference of boob sizes. A lot of guys I've encountered and myself included, find ourselves getting drawn to the eyes (no I'm not talking about specific colours or something), the smile, and just an average body proportion - existence of breasts, waist thinner than bust size and hips slightly bigger than the waist. That's it, the physical attraction part is over. After that it's all about how interests match, how well conversations are carried out, etc. However, the media doesn't give a flying crap about any of that. They need revenue and that requires making people think with their genitals and not with their brains. Media portrayals don't have time (an ad for example) for guys to take a couple of seconds checking out a girl, talking to her etc. They need to catch the eye immediately before the person scrolls down and the easiest way is to appeal sexually. This means that most of the stuff we see in the virtual world is designed to make us think irrationally and look and devour the image quickly, the worst culprit being social media platforms like instagram etc. With all this going on, people forget that the fashion industry and media show what excites people and they try to make themselves match that apparent 'minimum requirement' and now with corrective procedures available to anyone who can rain paper, the number of such procedures aare rising nicely.
Probably because it became a status thing to go under the knife. I find it really strange how women in real life with naturally big lips are bullied, women with naturally big butts are called disgusting, big boobs are made fun of because of all the stretch marks and sag, but the moment Kim gets boob and butt implants and Kylie gets lip injections they are all hailed.
So I think they are admired because we think surgically enhanced butts don't have dimples of fat and fake boobs are perkier.
Maybe it's the media and social standards? We have a different taste here in Asia/TH. By the way, the pressure on women to try to enhance their appearance, and to be noticed and called "pretty" or "beautiful" is as similar as in the west.
I think breast enlargement surgery is an extremely foolish waste of money. Boobs of all sizes can be attractive and there are guy who prefer smaller boobs rather than massive mammaries. I was married to a woman who had implants after she had breast surgery and the implants were quite obvious when she was exposed. Women should stop reading Cosmo and stop worrying about thigh gaps, hip dips, boob size, etc. and start worrying about what is important:. being a good, kind person with good morals and being a good future mother.
@Solitude_asian people have their own set of insecurities, especially when the media always portrayed certain images or body shapes and sizes as beautiful. it makes people yearn to have it

And yes i agree with you on this girl above it was exessive and pointless. She is already a 10/10 with boobs. And why all this is simple, inscure, there is an arugement that things can be created perfect but humans ain't born perfect. So artifical stuff can be created to way we like were as are body from birth is just kinda made without us choosing what it gives us. Making that more perfect.

It all started with buisness plan to feast on the insecurities of the people. Mostly the celebreties and rich people because they are in the Showbiz so showing there body is there buisness they make money out of it as they grow old they loose the attractiveness due to make up and all so plastic surgery helps them look sexy, many people have died for getting something like it. What's vissible that is more sellable now to grow that buisness they advertised they made somethings as household products like fake eyelashes fake finger nails makeup and what not, show me a confident girl who can walk around without makeup and not be insecure atall about her looks but people don't understand they are modifying themselves they have certain side effects and you loose part of reality within you because an artificial thing cannot replace a natural feel..
Yes, it definitely more valued than natural beauty. I’ve heard a lot of guys say women are too materialistic and like watching materialistic people fuck on porn, the fat asses and big boobs. It’s very normalised now days though. This generation is undoubtedly all about looks and fashion. Surgery of any sort is our norm. This generation is very materialistic, especially the women. We do it for self confidence, worth and recognition. For me, personally, I’ve thought about surgery and definitely want it because I’m very insecure. My want bigger boobs and a fatter ass, just for my boyfriend. If that isn’t sad, I don’t know what is.
They say that good plastic surgery is the kind you never notice. I really don't like the "plastic" look, especially these blatant boob jobs, collagen injections, etc. I can see how subtle "lifts" or "tweaks" can help some women feel better about body parts they're insecure about. For example, some women don't get the full boob job, but they maybe have sagging breasts and just get a little bit of "cushioning" in the bottom part of the breast to restore a more youthful, "perky" shape. It looks natural, she feels better, and most guys would never even notice she had work done on them (unless the guy knew her from before the surgery). But getting bigger tits or rounder tits "just because I can" is a bit of a disappointment to look at, tbh. I just think natural or "almost natural" is much nicer-- better to look at, nicer to touch, and more "honest".
Are you from Romania? Plastic surgery is pretty common over there. I personally think that the men (and they were men) who invented breast implants had serious issues and sparked and industry that lives off of women's low self esteem. I would like to see a world in which women don't feel the need to do this to their bodies, but all I can do is urge they refuse it for themselves and learn to love their bodies.
Certainly, the idea that famous women (I noticed that this does not appear to apply to famous men – what does that tell you?) must appear to be the physical ideal is not new. Personally, I think it would serve human males the world over right and proper justice if women refused to comply with this expensive, painful, and mentally-abusive standard.
It is not more valued but it seems like it because there is a massive industry promoting it. Most men don't like fake anything, including breasts. I will admit that they can look good in clothing, but they don't look good without clothing and they don't feel good. They also make you worry about the mental insecurity of somebody who would do this to their body (I have no problem with reconstructive surgery, e. g. following a mastectomy).
Once met a waitress who worked at Hooters while I was there with friends for a bachelor party. She told us how excited she was because the next month she was getting her boobs done. One of the guys asked why and she said so that she could qualify for playboy magazine; said playboy had minimal breast size requirements.
Didn’t ask, but I wouldn’t think so. Personally I prefer a smaller ass and also it’s more about overall body proportions anyway. Having huge boobs on a skinny frame is usually a giveaway to our eyes that something was enhanced and isn’t natural. Playboy sells the fantasy, but most people are attracted to reality. Just like most guys don’t have to achieve the look of The Rock to be physically attractive.
Everyone has different tastes. Maybe because fat gain in the buttocks and legs is stimulated by estrogen? That is why men almost never have fat bums and thighs. Some men like small boobs, some care more about the legs or hands. Some just don't care as long as she is thin and has a preety face. But most men are either into ass or boobs.
You make a valid point regarding estrogen and I agree typically women carry more fat in their thighs while guys start a beer belly. But the whole big ass craze seems to be born 10 years ago with the Kim kardasians of the world and others like her who are in fact photoshopped and propped up as some goal for women to shape their body to achieve.
Again I know personal preference is a thing but to me when a younger woman already has a good shape and healthy body and feels insecure because she doesn’t have a big ass and thicc thighs it’s sad. She should realize how attractive she is already.
I think part of the problem is girls confuse online attention with irl attraction. As I said the current Kim k trend is photoshopped and meant to get online views just like the ig models. Sadly girls see them as role models and are brainwashed that guys want them to have that body.
Beauty standards change. Men didn't always have the courage to express their preference if it was contrary to what was popular. Also, sometimes it is influenced by the society you grew in. Kim Kardashian had plastic surgery and her proportions are weird. She used to have a curvy body naturally, but now it is simply too much in my opinion.
The woman in the pics i posted was quite flat chested. She had another boob job in the past, but it was a decent size for her frame. I thought it is ok, it complimented her looks. But they way she looks now is too much for me. You can see it is forced, she didn't have much breast tissue so the implants don't look natural. I find it quite sad because her body is great for someone who has 3 kids.
The reality is men have differences for women, just as we women don't all like the same type of men. I personally don't understand fake boobs and lips either. Fake bums look bad too.
Right. We are agreeing on many things. While generally speaking both men and women want someone who is healthy and in shape each individual likes what they like. As we know once physical attraction is established then personality and character can really enhance that attraction. Yes generally speaking people are more drawn to natural vs fake. Plastic surgery often results in fake as you said. Like i mentioned it’s the fantasy vs reality.. reality and natural wins every time.
Rereading your question ‘people are liking her more’.. people are clinking like on the online fantasy. In her actual day to day life she likely gets the same attention as she used to get; even if more now all attention isn’t good.
As long as there is a beauty standard, plastic surgery will always be more "attractive" than natural beauty. The standard could be more's more is better, or less is classier and more beautiful. Either or, people will alter what they normally have to "achieve" the direction of beauty.
Because all of the movie stars, tv starts, and reality show women say you half to have plastic surgery to be beautiful, and many have some surgery done.
There is nothing wrong with women wanting surgery done, some want it because they want to have bigger breast, or to lose weight.
I think some people can't tell the difference, I definitely think people who go to the extremes are definitely not seen as attractive. Boob jobs at one time were seen as desirable now much less so, because mainstream desire is trendy. A lot of people just can't see the plastic surgery.

Therefore some consider their appearance as only one positive asset that is socially accepted and focus on it by improving or keeping it as long as possible.
It's not how the world sees them but how they see themselves. If you're insecure you usually try to change that aspect about yourself. Everyone is different. Not being natural doesn't mean you're artificial. Everyone wants to feel natural in your own body and way. Plastic surgery has helped a lot of people.
People don't look at the fact that tha person performed aesthetic surgery cuz in general not a big part of 'em know about it (on social media or real life) Women with larger attributes always attract. But you can attract too just with a beauty face but it depends of many others factors... She very pretty and it doesn't change her but I think it's also superficial... I hope she does this for her and not for the views.
Cause society keeps raising the bar for the standard of beauty, and at this point the only way to keep up is to either be born lucky, makeup, or plastic surgery. Even pretty women feel ugly now a days.
Breast implants won’t make breasts perkier, a breast lift does that. Here’s the thing, people don’t like plastic surgery. People want people that are naturally beautiful but most people aren’t so they get surgery. Besides other reasons such as trauma, defects, or child bearing/obesity. That’s a different issue
Well, I dont think the statement is 100% true. In my opinion, plastic surgery, when done properly, can help people to love themselves. When we feel uncomfortable with our bodies or ourselves, we get depressed and lose self esteem or we can decide to change what makes us unhappy.
Probably cuz of the fact people see how they think they should look cuz of advertising on TV trying to make you feel you should look a certain way when uf girls got there face done with the top 3 fixes they would look worse I can under stand getting a hose job if you feel it looks to bad for big not because of what people say
I personally don't care for plastic surgery unless it is corrective. Or to repair damage. I understand some people do it to increase their personal view of their image, but at a point it becomes almost disgusting.

I had an ex she had breast implants I mean she look sexy but the downside, she complained, "don't touch them". I swear any man want to grabs boobs. Made me uncomfortable when having sex with her. The we break up, I mean I cannot live not touching female breast.
Like you said, they are getting more attention with the Surgery so it's great for them. Now people can fix whatever they feel insecure about that's why plastic surgery is more valued. If it makes them feel confident then that is just amazing.
Everyone should embrace their natural beauty, and this cruel social pressure is influencing us into changing ourselves physically to look more appealing, when really, we’re beautiful in our own ways and we should own that.
I came here, because my friends wife is getting her breasts done. I do not understand why? Nothing wrong. Spending 12k on putting plastic inside you is so wrong. Media is definitely taking advantage of a illness, and putting a temporary cover over it by doing surgery... Surgeons are getting rich off it. Its so hard to watch. Beautiful women getting controlled by media. And so many approve of it, even if they don't do it themselves.

People are getting more and more shallow. They can't appreciate real beauty. They don't even know what it is anymore. We're brainwashed with full of images of people who got plenty of plastic surgery and photoshoped. They don't realized that those people they find so attractive are just 2 things:plastic and fake.
I think there's an aesthetic some women seem to reflexively feel to the idea of plastic surgery. Like if you get plastic surgery, it's "special" because not everyone can afford it, so it's got that "high status, rich person" vibe. Also, even if you're already attractive, I think it's the idea that you "had work done" which conveys the idea that it must be better than whatever came before.
I dunno. I strongly dislike women that choose to go under the knife to change their appearance.. Unless its reconstructive type, like they were injured or something. But for elective purposes only.. Nah its disgusting to me.

@emmily2396 Well, I haven't seen the picture. My opinion on it is that people decide for themselves whatever they see as attractive. I guess they just didn't perceive the natural ones as ''beauty''. It's subjective what is beautiful and what is not. I do think though if they could make the choice between two pairs of ''beautiful boobs'' they'd choose the natural ones.
It's not for many people. Only assholes would make women need to go have some part of their body modified as if there's something wrong about 'em. I'd value natural beauty.
You see a few of these successes online and you assume it is valued more? It isn't. Also, not every operation is a success, so don't think it's all sunshine and flowers all round.
I cannot change my genes. I either have inherent beauty or I do not. I can pay for acquired beauty. If I do not think that I have enough inherent beauty, why would I not pay for acquired beauty?
It's because our society has valued women only by their looks, so some women have this kind of insecurity where they think they can get better if they were to get plastic surgery. People don't want to accept that there is more to a person than looks.
