Maybe I did it wrong but got better results in lazy wear than glam wear.
That's because lazy wear makes you seem as a relaxed and confident person.
@Tobithefriend sounds legit. But I also saw pics of myself with what I thought was good makeup on and I looked like trash.
If there's a particular girl I'm interested I'd try to make myself presentable. Mostly I just wear what feels comfortable.
Sometimes, it depends on what I'm about to do.
Funny thing is, I get more attention in my construction clothes.
To the people who replied no never: LOL, good luck if you believe that yourself. Then why even wear clothing.
To be warm? To be comfortable?
Because being nude is not acceptable in the workplace?

Well, what exactly is your point then? Cuz I know I don't dress to impress the opposite gender just because I see no point in that.
It is viable that others feel the same. Not everyone does things just to get a partner. Or they are gay and do not try to impress the opposite gender but actually the same gender.
@LittleTurtleDuck just in general do you dress to impress others, or someone you are trying to attract. Then it doesn’t matter if same or opposite gender. Why are most people nervous before a date, excited for a big party, etc and trying to do their best and look good, if they didn’t care just a little bit about other people. Yes it is good to be comfy with one self and dress in something that makes you happy, but I do not believe that 50% never dress in hopes of other people noticing and liking.
You can believe what you want, that's ok. But I can at least say for myself that I don't dress to impress ever. Yes it is nice if people think I look good, but it is not, and never will be, my goal when dressing up.
I also don't stress over clothes for a date or party: I pick what ever I like and feel comfortable in and go. I don't have specific date or work outfits, it is al the same. I make myself look good for myself, so that when I look in the mirror I can go "yess that's me!" But I honestly don't care what other people think.
And therefore I do believe that there are people out there that are the same as I am.
