Leggings as pants: yes or no?

I was wearing leggings today and random homeless guy on the street goes “Yo mama let you leave the house like that? You even got clothes on?”

So guys and girls, answer the long held question. Are leggings as pants okay to wear in public? I personally see SO many girls wearing them all over the place including inside and outside the gym.

I prefer leggings over any other pants.. wear them daily only have a couple pairs of jeans, sweatpants and one pair of dress pants incase I need them for some dress code.. but I wear leggings daily..

I'm particularly fond of the ones that are thin and clingy that show a nice distinctive camel toe. If you want to show that part of your body off that clearly sure why not go for it. I've seen girls who wore nothing but body paint that looked more modestly dressed though. If you don't want guys to drool or stare you might consider jeans or other styles of bottoms.

It is pretty casual wear, so not for some work places, at least then have a shirt that is long enough to cover the butt like in the first picture.
I do like to wear it when just at home office, going out for a walk or getting groceries. Wtf that a man comments on it on the street. One could even go straight from/to the gym. Unless they are very transparent they are absolutely ok to wear in public.
