I like them on women, I think they look good and a bit sexy. There is the connotation, as you are seeing from other answers, of sexuality. Where that comes from, who knows, but it's part of our culture now.
I had a girlfriend, who enjoyed being my sub in a Dom/sub relationship, and I bought her a choker with a cameo that looked like this:It was sort of a special Dom to sub gift, and she enjoyed putting it on when she was feeling more into her role and it had a connotation of ownership. As though she was my pet and I, her owner, put the choker/collar on her as a symbol of ownership. These of course all just being concepts that we created symbolically around the choker.
Personally, I don't much care to wear jewelry as it snags on things, bounces around, gets dirty, has to be taken on and off, and is just that much more complicated than not wearing jewelry. That said, I have worn some here and there and I prefer a tighter fit. Here is an example of a couple necklaces I was wearing. The longer (bear claw) was adjustable, and when I didn't have the smaller one in the photo, I would tighten it up more so that it was even tighter than the smaller one in the photo:As it is, the bear claw is too long; I would not have it that long if I wasn't making room for the other necklace.

Welcome to gag and I love you first question I absolutely love them especially that style right there because in the light it looks like a tattoo and I think that's that ass I don't worry with other guys think because I'll tell you right now you have your nice ones you have your good ones you have your bad ones and then you have the asshole ones and no matter what you say they're going to bitch barking bite because they're so bucking unhappy they create misery everywhere they go until you block them but anyway welcome have fun I hope to answer more of your questions
There's a somewhat odd cultural association with them now as ascribing girls who wear them as being slutty.
I think be aware of that, but do what you want.
I like them... sometimes. Depends on what they are made of, and how the woman's neck is. (Should be slim, but not too long, right. Proportional.)
I have one and my husband actually asked me to get rid of it. That was shocking. He rarely says anything. But he's becoming more outspoken lately.
I don't like the first one at all - it looks very cheap and don't wear anything rubber or vinyl-like. People will think it's a BDSM reference.
All the others are nice, in my opinion.
You do you, girl. Only got one life. Life it how you want (as long as it's kind to others.) You're not hurting anyone. Express yourself through style. It's one of the perks of being a girl.
I love them and wore them like 5 years ago when they just started becoming popular. I was having nostalgia to the 90s and 2000s era so at first I had the basic plastic black or white ones. Then I saw stores had other options and I wore others.
At first I stood out and some guys thought I was into S&M which I never would have thought equated to that. I stopped wearing them for a while until chokers were so mainstream. I don't wear them anymore though since it's not really my style anymore. I still think they're cute or vintage looking.

Maybe if you stuck with delicate chains or pearls instead of the flat, black ones that look like tats, it wouldn't be viewed (not judging here) as being slutty or goth.
There nothing wrong with choker necklaces at all. There are endless choices of design. Some look really elegant and feminine. They look particularly good on a woman with a graceful neck.
Those in the photos you shared look good. I don't like the kind that look like BDSM leather dog collars with metal rings and/or studs. After taking a look at others opinion, It seems like chokers, are a symbol that the girl wearing them DGAF if other people don't like them, she is a little kinky, but also confident, likes to have fun, to look good, and feel sexy/desired. Well, that's my opinion.
It's sort of like saying that using a straw to sip a drink is sexual. Well it may be if the person looking at you has sex on their mind. Otherwise it's not. Yes, there's a type of choker that is definitely sexual... the kind that looks more like a dog collar and/or has a lock on it. Outside of that no, it's not necessarily sexual.
That said, if you combine a choker with other stuff like dressing like a total whore... yeah it's sexual then.I used to wear the bracelet type choker during my uni years.. Its uncommon in my place and culture. People would stare questionly here. I know in other country it carry sensual or sexual meaning but I don't care. Now I took it off because I dont think it fit me because I am matured woman and no longer being a student. But I still like it though.
The 2nd one with the white is really really beautiful. Chokers are okay and not slutty at all. My only negative about them is that I feel like they're out of style, especially the ones like the first picture. I used to wear those when I was in high school and I haven't seen anyone wear them since then.
I think they give an alternative rock sort of look. Also looks as if you stepped out of the late 90s/early 2000s. not saying that's a bad thing. I don't see how it looks "slutty" because all it does is sit on your neck. And it's up high so you wouldn't have to wear a shirt that shows much cleavage.
I tend to find most chokers pretty sexy, except for that first one. That first one viscerally irritates me and I don't really know why. I think it's because they look really cheap and crappy. I like the simple ones, like the top on in the third picture the most.
Thankfully i am not into trendy fashion anymore lmao.
In high school i was into bdsm (as an interest but not practicing it with anyone tankfully)... And i wore a leather type thick choker that tied in the back like a belt does and the front had a silver large hoop dangling. I wanted to be edgy and show off my interest in goth and bdsm lmao... It probably worked considering one day on the train i got atared down by a older man.. it was scary to me.. I was so naive and dumb to be into edgy stuff but i had bad parentin and they disnt give a damn about me and let me wear whatever. Including bdsm collars which come on an adult has to know thats a sexual collar right?Chokers are classy and stylish and highlight a woman's neck.
Collars are fine for night-wear. I think they're not appropriate to wear around kids. In my mind it's sexually suggestive and I don't think kids need to see that.
And excellent update... wear what you want regardless of what they think. It's for you, not them.i wear chokers almost everyday, most guys think they look attractive around a girls neck so keep wearing them. It does not make you a slut, ignore them
Listen I think they're super sexy but you can't tell me it's not stage one of preparing for a collar 🤣 I say keep wearing them but be warned as its sort of a sexual innuendo. I'm not trying to offend you or anything but me and many of boys when we see girls with chokers it has a "slutty" stereotype. Not to say more innocent girls don't wear them but it is what it is.
I personally wear chokers, no matter whether it is trendy or not, as they do happen to compliment my face.
I have a full, oval face and not a long neck and the choker provides the visual relief and brings out the colors in my eyes while brightening my face overall.
I love chokers and own several tens of them.I know some girls might just think they look cute (they do), but I know some girls wear them to signal to guys that they are submissive. It’s important to note that submissiveness is not the same as being a slut.
I've always had a thing for them. I think it's a very attractive and sexy look. It don't really associate it with "sluttiness" like I would with other clothing items or accessories. It was actually quite popular fad when I was in Junior High School.
It's not for me, I think the ones you showed here look nice on them. I like necklaces at times but just not chokers. That's a personal choice I make, they do look nice on girls that like them.
I mean it's a Revival of the 90s which at the time was a Revival of the Victorian tradition. I've always thought they look cheap and trashy. But seeing that they're bringing back the whole 90s thing is a bit nostalgic for me. But other than that I just think they look dumb.
Where is the guys statue? The one who said you looked like a slut?
I like chokers, they are a great style. You be you. To heck with everyone else. Go out and start your own trends for people to follow.Well, if that's what gets them off in bed, then whatever they do as consenting adults is fine.
... Oh, wait. You meant the accessory. I think they're for "naughty teenagers who hate daddy and will marry a black guy!" They're sexy, kinda. But only one type of girl wears them. Well, two if you count dominatrixes.
Biji Kurdistan! But to answer your question, I like chokers especially on younger teens. It’s very sexual and kinda indicates to me a horny girl, or a girl who is a sub. Super hot to see in malls and schools tbh.
