It is both, but to speak for everyone is not possible considering everyone has their own preferences on what they like and donât like and what they are attracted to and not attracted to. Me personally is not attracted to girls that size but I know some guys that are , so for each their own I guess, I just mind my own business when it comes to friends going for girls that I donât find attractive , the way I look at it is , if they are happy thatâs all that matters, I donât judge people off of looks , just because I am not attracted to someone doesnât mean that they are an asshole , now if I think they are assholes and have a shitty personality then yes I will tell my friend my thoughts on their personality, but looks, I donât go there , unless they ask me what do I think , and I will be honest , they arenât my type, but if you like her go for it , youâre the one sticking your dick in it not me lol I hate when people tell others that they can do better than that, based off of looks. Just because you donât find someone attractive doesnât mean someone else wonât , Shit I know attractive girlâs that I told my friends to stay away from cuz they were gold digger whores and sluts that arenât loyal to anyone so yes I will stop my friend from going for that lol
Of course we discuss obesity only when it comes to FAT women who can't put the fork down. And how we are all supposed to accept them and fall in love with them. When a man is obese he's just a fat fuck who must "man up" and take care of himself.
#FemaleDoubleStandards
I think obesity is extremely disgusting and unattractive. It should not be accepted as the norm. These are people who refuse to accept that they are literal fat asses who need to get the fuck up and go exercise and eat healthier foods besides birthday cake ice crean and McDonald's.
I saw this obese dude at Sam's Club one day get out of his car, and his stomach went all the way to his knees almost. He had like 5 kids and his slim-ish wife was rounding them all up and taking care of them. What SERIOUSLY made me mad, though. This dude was in one of those grocery cart things meant for people disabled individuals. And he was in one.
The fucking fat, lard ass was in one of them. I was with my mom and I was like, "Are you fucking serious? He's too much of a fat ass to get up and walk around, so he has to occupy this thing while someone who is REALLY disabled may need it?". That was so disrespectful to REAL disabled people. This obesity shit is getting out of hand and is really pissing me off. Accept that you people are fucking fat and lose some weight, Jesus Christ.
Obesity is unattractive because it's objectively ugly and unhealthy. Yuck, that is disgusting! People like that won't make it to 50.

It is unattractive and unhealthy. This is a fact. Nobody likes death.
I find it unattractive. The main reason being that I was raised by a mother that had serious medical issues. It very much played into being forced to grow up fast and several points growing up where I had to help my mother raise my younger brother. Also I do find it lazy. On several occasions my mother was going through cancer treatments and raising two kids on her own. Being lazy and not pushing forward regardless of how bad things where was not an option. If it was not for being raised in in that kind of environment there have been times where I would have laid down and probably prayed for death. It was never an option because I never allowed it to be. So I look at obesity as something people allow to be an option.
It's literally just looks. No one gives a flying f*ck about their "health" when looking at SSBBW females.
I get annoyed when people lie and act all disingenuous about it. You don't like super-fat women? That's a-okay. But don't lie about it and claim you care about their "health" when you f*cking don't (as if most of you have good health, anyway; most of you drink and smoke). That's the only thing that annoys me, since I'm overweight myself, but active, and people just assume I'm lazy gluttonous who sits on my ass all day. I do kickboxing, so I'm probably more active than half of you out there.
Personally, I wouldn't say no to any of these women, but they are a bit heavy, even for me.
Society is society. Our views shape how we feel about everything.
The fact is that being overweight might have been very useful in times of famine, etc., but it's the opposite now. We are in a perpetual state of virtual feast. And being severely overweight creates all sorts of related health problems. And poor health equals partners who may become a burden. They can't do as much active stuff, and they may die earlier, leaving the person without their partner.
So it's not a purely superficial metric of beauty, desire, and attractiveness.
Obesity is when someone is significantly overweight meaning extremely large. So they most likely are pre-diabetic with high cholesterol and they are putting extreme stress on their organs including heart, lungs, bones and fatty liver. The body and skin becomes lumpy, stretched and distorted. The skin also becomes infected easier has edema more often and fungal infections. This also means that food is more important to them then their health which would indicate that they have an addiction. So there really isnât anything attractive about that situation or person at all.
Attractiveness is heavily influenced by society.
During the Middle Ages an open, expansive face was partly achieved by scraping back the hair and hiding it under a hood or veil-which also conformed with the churchâs moral policy. However, a high hairline was required to give a ladyâs face maximum exposure. Not every woman had a naturally high forehead. So, to raise their beauty rating, Medieval ladies raised their hairlines artificially

Foot binding was a started during the Tang Dynasty
In ancient Greece Ideal beauty standards for women were those who were plump and full bodied.
During the Italian renascence an ample bosom, rounded stomach and full hips were the standard of beauty.
In Victorian England, Women were expected to be pleasantly plump, full figured, with a waist synched with a corset.
But they would have historically, that's my point. Beauty standards change, In ancient Greece and during the Italian renascence this woman would have been a 10. The beauty standard is constantly changing, give it 10 years and big lips will probably be undesirable.
In ancient Greece and during the Italian renascence this woman would have been considered the standard of beauty. It doesn't matter what I think, History speaks for it's self.
suburugirl is correct
@Still-alive then go ahead and like her body all you want lol.
i don't but that doesn't mean she's incorrect...
why are you getting so emotional over historical beauty standards? Are you seriously going to call ancient Greeks retarded?
From proofs about infinite prime numbers used internet encryption to mathematical formulae used in engineering, the ancient Greeks have provided scientists, economists, lawyers, architects, and well, just about everyone, with a new mathematical understanding of our world... and you are going to dismiss and villainize an entire civilization that helped shape our, government, architecture, art, sports, etc. because you don't like what their standard of beauty used to be?
Personally I would be more concerned about my disgusting attitude, rather than the body of someone I don't even know... but that's just me.
No youâre a shitty person for acting like a shitty person. I donât find her attractive, but I donât feel the need to body shaming bitch. She is fat, she knows it, everyone who sees her knows it, so why do you feel the need to put her on blast and publicly body shame her?
Yes we know, youâre entitled but most normal people donât broadcast that. Insecure have the tendency to put others down when they feel insecure about themselves. Treating people poorly doesnât make you seem better though, it just makes you seem like an inconsiderate child.
Those descriptions are biased off of the way you are acting and the way you treat others, not the way you look. I am basically saying that youâre acting like an asshole, not that you look like an asshole. See the difference?
"Finding someone's body disgusting doesn't mean treating them bqdly. "
but constantly saying it out loud is...
you can go ahead and say whatever you like. and we are allowed to think you are a terrible person for it
@Still-alive Why would I not say it is disgusting if it is?
sure say it... but like i said we get to think you're a bitch for doing so.
words DO matter despite what people think.
@Still-alive you are attacking my character
I didn't attack her character.
No anger from me towards her
you attacked her appearance by mentioning it.
@Still-alive her ap0earance not her character.
I express no anger or bitterness unlike you 2
First of all she is a her, not at it. And secondly because cyber bullying wrong. I don't like bullies, so if I see something I will say something because that is what you are supposed to do, and if I see someone being bullied and mistreated, I'm going to do something about it.
Weren't you ever taught that if you don't have something nice to say not to say it. That woman isn't hurting you, so why do you feel the need to?
that is bullying... and we are right to call you out for it.
lol she just wants to bully people and not have to face any consequences for it apparently.
its not how it works sweetheart!
@Still-alive it is not bullying. I express no wickedness no anger no bitterness for her.
I find her body physically disgusting
it doesn't matter what you intended. your actions are what matter here. and it IS bullying to mention it. just keep them to yourselves or people around you WILL think you are a bitch. now if you dont care about being thought of as a bitch than hey all power to you but this is what the results will be
@Still-alive thank you
@marish01 bullying is defined as abuse and mistreatment of someone vulnerable by someone stronger, more powerful, etc.
body shaming is defined as the act or practice of subjecting someone to criticism or mockery for supposed bodily faults or imperfections
Publicly body shaming someone is by definition, bullying.
which causes pain.
you just don't get it. or you do but choosing to ignore it
If that wasn't your intention, then why did you do it anyways knowing that it would be hurtful? What was your intention behind cyber bullying and body shaming this woman? Even after it was brought to your attention, you defended you choice to bully by saying that you are entitled, and it's painfully clear that you are not sorry.
still doesn't justify it nor does it make you any less of a bitch in peoples eyes
@Still-alive i dont care about those people. It is still disgusting to me. Your attacks didn't make me get turned on by her body.
lol no ones trying to turn you on.
but ok if you don't give a shit that people think you are a bitch for saying this then so be it.
I think that is your problem, you don't care. NO one said anything about you needing to be attracted to her, what we're saying is that you dig deep, find a little empathy if you have any at all and stop acting like a cyber bullying bitch. No one is attacking you, people are reacting to your mistreatment and for bullying of someone else and calling you out for it, there is big difference.
For example an attack on you would be if someone took your profile picture and posted a question asking who else thought that you were an ugly whore. That would be an attack.
haha nahh you're fucking ugly.
thats my opinion. :)
You maybe a virgin, but beauty comes from insideâŠ
If I were you, I would focus on your inner beauty. An ugly person with a beautiful face is still an ugly person.
At least I don't feel the need to body shame and cyber people on the internet...
No you were body shaming and cyber bullying.
Any adult can do what they want with their body.
I totally disagree with the "fat acceptance" self love bs, some body types are thinner, others thicker, but almost everybody can have healthy weigh (I know some people have hormonal issues that complicate this, but that's other topic). Obesity is wrong, it's incredible how many people are saying it's ok and to accept their obese bodies as they are. Those people are not healthy, that's just as wrong as anorexia. They're hurting themselves, they have a problem with food and, in this crazy days, instead of getting help, they're told they are perfect, beautiful and healthy.
Not all "overweight" is unattractive. I've personally met a lot of guys throughout my life who do like thick girls, but not necessarily obese women. Then there are guys who do like obese women. Lets not judge each other for our own personal preferences. Not everyone is attracted to the same thing.
Same for women. Some women do not like muscular guys but skinny guys. Then there are women who are only attracted to muscular guys. You can't just generalize what is attractive for the entire world. There is no rule.
it's unattractive by nature because the fatter you are the more health problems you "may" have and the more health problems you have the more difficult it 'may' be to reproduce and men in general are attracted to women who can bare children which is why they are attracted in general to some with small waist big hips not so much giant.
yet people now perfect the body to a T and then also photoshop alongside surgeries which makes us see the average attractive body that is NOT fat, not be so attractive because we compare it to 'perfection' but in general with or without all the perfected version, humans are NOT attracted to fat no shape bodies by nature.
The instinct to find obesity unattractive is a product of human evolution, not a social construct. When it comes to female attractiveness specifically, the preference for skinnier or more voluptuous women is a style that shifts with economic and social circumstances, but in all cases the majority of men (there are always exceptions and individuals that pursue evolutionary dead-ends) prefer a waist-to-hip ratio of about 0.7 and a lack of excessive body fat because this signals health and fertility. Keep in mind that men donât consciously think âoh, she looks healthy and fertile.â They just know the woman is attractive. No amount of feminist indoctrination will change this reality.
It's clearly made by society, like tons of other stuff which doesn't fit on the mainstream line... like feminine men or masculine women...
Also the culture and how rich a country is counts into that... history shows that pretty clear
Poor countries tend to worship fat bodies bc simply it's a sign to be rich bc everybody is poor... in rich countries its the other way arround bc everyone could get fat easily...
You can look that up for Europe or USA when they where poor, like from ww1 until ~70'
It's funny to me that I usual fall for chick's like on the last pic, fall hard... 😆
Guess what, society sees me mostly as creep bc it's seen as gross... but I give a fck
Aren't those pictures just average Americans? lol
I have always found it to be gross when someone is huge like that. I don't even want them hugging me if they are a relative.
Obesity shows you're a gawdam LAZY Fat Land-Hippo who doesn't even care about your own gawdam health! Walking around with all that extra fat also puts you at risk for innumerable diseases (mainly of the heart) and destroys your joints and tendons (especially knees) . Fat is unattractive because it says a lot about a person who allows themselves to get so damn big.
Its biological. When i was younger i always thought i wanted a thick girl due to media. Not like above but like rap video girls. But then when i actually got with a thin girl (and i didn't even want her really) i got so much harder and turned on than ever before. Now I've fucked tons of women and I've found i have an attraction for thin, feminine, young women. Shit just happens to be the same stuff the patriarchy always said men like. I just didn't think it until i tried it and believed the popular media i was exposed to.
Obesity is extremely bad for your health first and foremost. If you are obese you should work with a medical doctor or psychologist to make a plan to become healthier. Obesity can lead to serious serious health problems. Plus, it feels great to be in shape. That doesn't mean skinny, it just means that it feels great to be in shape.
Just imagine this lady getting the miss universe with her current body, being obese is her choice but people liking her because she's obese is not something she can impose on. Just imagine a lady if she had a choice to go for a healthy guy or pig ass fat guy who would she choose. You getting my point right you can't impose someone to like you, it's their choice and their opinion on what they like or not.
people are instinctively looking for a partner who is healthy enough to raise children, protect them, help them etc. and for someone who has great genetic potential to share their dna with. Lack of mobility, high blood pressure diabetes, emotional problems and an early death are not sexy!
It is unattractive and extremely unhealthy too. It also says that the person is careless and lazy. It is both. It is unattractive and also very negative. No complaints if due to some medical conditions though.
It is unhealthy and unattractive because that's what it is, so yes I personally find it this way and feel like most people would agree regardless of media and whatever
Evolutionarily speaking men and women are attracted to healthy people. A lot of people have a weird idea that underweight is more attractive, but most people I know have a range of shapes and sizes they like. It rarely goes into the obese range, and probably practically never goes into extremely obese.
Fortunately, there ARE other things people find attractive in each other, and I know happy obese married couples.
Nope they are unattractive cause it's just simply not appealing to the eyes, compared to a girl that slimmer or whatnot, this is of course speaking of obesity, when a girl is a bit thicker or a bit chunkier and even chubby is still attractive to the eyes well to some more than others, now don't get me wrong there's people out there that have a thing for huge people but I'm speaking for the most part.
Extreme obesity is unattractive because of an inbred instinctive response. Instinctively, we select mates based on their health to provide for healthy offspring and extreme obesity looks unhealthy and unable to do that.
Moderate obesity (aka slightly overweight) is unattractive because society says so.
Because it's unhealthy. That woman could drop dead from a heart attack any time after 45. Not to mention that her legs look like a pile of chewed bubble gum instead of normal legs. I don't think most people mind a few extra pounds, but that's not just a few.
It's both. It's physically unattractive and it also has negative social connotations because it's as bad (or worse) as it looks. Obese people are often perceived as lazy, neglectful people, with no self control, which are unattractive qualities. They can't work when they reach a certain point and they become a burden to their families and to the system.
Obesity isn't to be considered a defining characteristic, like freckles or a missing limb. It is a preventable disease. Those who are obese are sick, and those who try to paint it positively in society are enablers.
The same goes for any other preventable and unhealthy state of being. Most of society is only doing what's right, unless there is an upcoming famine in which people will need to survive on their own fat stores.
Very well said!
i think for me when i see someone who is obese, i imagine what it would be like if i was in their shoes and it just makes me freak out. i could never in a million years be like that.
Yes it is extremely unattractive and unhealthy also.
We find it unattractive. You like lifting a manâs guy up to see his cock? If he has too small of a dick, he might not be able to have sex with you because his gut is hitting you. Then there is the health factors. Nothing good comes from being fat.
Society has made us believe that fat people are fat because they don't eat healthy and that they're so lazy to do exercise (and that is unattractive). Which is totally false and many factors can come up to their difficulty of losing weight. politistic ovaries for example, or muscular mass.
Obesity means high intake of calories and lack of movement. It may also be perceived as a synonym of decent income/power (in the past only rich/powerful people would put on weight = eat big amounts of food while not having to work the land)
Nowadays, itâs perceived as an unhealthy consequence of modern society in the western world.
I think itâs hard for most folks to be attracted to someone who is so obviously unhealthy, unless they themselves follow the same unhealthy lifestyle.
However, I know people can be attracted to those types of people who are trying to turn their lives around and show almost impossible dedication and fight to change.
Personally, Iâm attracted to fit and healthy. Physically and mentally.
Weâre typically attracted to indicators of good health, and obesity is far from healthy.
No, they did not one bit.
Yes, we find it unattractive. It shows
1) That you're unhealthy, not a good choice for a breeding partner.
2) That you don't care about yourself.
3) You make poor choices.
Healthy is called healthy for a reason.
Neither obesity or anorexia is attractive in my eyes. I think it's possible for majority of people to get into the "normal" range.
Personally obesity turns me off but some men get off over it.
Everyday diabetic awareness educator I find obesity a turn off and repulsive
Gross! They must get their clothes made at a tent maker's shop and they should probably have worn the Big Top ten for those pics. They got more mounds than the Alps.
It's unattractive to many people for plenty of reasons.
Itâs instinctual. We are attracted to people that appear fertile and healthy. People tend to gain weight as they age, so obesity is also a sign of aging and lost vitality.
There are skinny men who loves fat women! As long as you happy with yourself or dating a fat person it shouldn't matter what other thinks. Now does it?
Not society. Not to me. I find it unattractive because it's unhealthy.
I think we personally find obesity unattractive. I don't know, it just kind of rubs the me the wrong way. Hopefully I don't sound too harsh.
It's not society who shapes the general view on obesity. It's looked as unattractive because it looks very unhealthy.
Poor health is never going to generally be considered attractive
As well it shouldn't.
It can be considered both in my opinion, reason being everyone has preferences when dating. I don't mind someone slightly chubby. But I just couldn't be with someone who is a health harzard. I just don't want that pressure on me
From an attraction standpoint an obese woman is more likely to have fertility issues and men subconsciously notice this.
Maybe people do find it unattractive, but they don't have to comment on it. Doing so shows an ugliness of character.
It's unhealthy, risk to your own life. Why would that ever be attractive? You give up on yourself, why does someone else have to like it?
Oh no it's fine I think it's the bathing suit it's just off
I personally wouldn't find that women attractive at all. She clearly is overweight and it's not sexy nor attractive.
It's evolution. If someone is that fat they wouldn't be a healthy mate or be able to contribute to society.
I don't know or care about society but I find obesity unattractive; the women in the pictures look like they need to get to the hospital, fast!
It's personal. I don't like it at all for looks, healthy reasons (obesity can be a reason for 80% medical issues) and I'm a EMT and dealing with overweight is the worst
I understand being chunky or overweight a lot of people do because most of us who they call fatphobic used to be fat themselves but itâs shameful to get so big and eat so much when so many have so little to eat thatâs just how I personally feel
health = attractiveness
the purpose of attractiveness is to make a healthy child
I don't care WHICH society I'm living in - THAT'S not attractive!
Ok chubby is ok but she is 600lb life. It may be a lot of things but she's not attractive. Maybe to a fetishist. But no she's very unhealthy.
Nope its gross. Just like lip injections & fake ass shit. Too much tit n ass is gross bc all we think are man she's lose! Class is sexy.
Obesity is not about being attractive or not. It's a disease.
i say short prayer for people i see that need help losing weight
Its the same sort of reason some Women aren't attracted to Fat Guys.
