Option C: Both
It really depends on mood and what I'm doing as well as weather... since the pandemic started I got back into rollerblading & skateboarding and all my slim fit & skinny jeans weren't really the vibe when I'd go skating/blading (too dressy and restrictive) so relaxed fit, baggy jeans/cargos and loose XL/XXL tall Tees have all found their way back into my closet (lol like back in 07 era).
TBH I like to mix it up and I'm really picky with clothing because of lifestyle (construction, being outdoorsy, skating/blading, performing live music & attending artsy type things) so I like my garments to be well made and preferable hand made by skilled makers (and not 3rd world wage slaves) for both ethical & quality control reasons.
In the winter I like slimmer fitting clothes to keep my body warm and darker colours so it disguises the rain and in the summer I prefer looser fitting to stay cool and lighter colours to reflect sunlight.
In the end it doesn't really matter, if you like how you dress keep doing what you are doing and if you aren't feeling it anymore switch it up and experiment.
Well said.
Seasonal thing. Most of the time I prefer fitted for myself. Sometimes oversized. I always have fitted pants but have a few oversized shirts, coats.
A nice high collar fleece that is slightly over sized I like personally. I just like the high collar regardless of fit.
On girls it depends on the girl but most girls who are in shape can wear both well in my opinion. Having soft shorts with an oversized shirt/hoodie looks cute on most girls.
High waisted jeans with a crop top is a good look for a girl who has the stomach for it. For the most part girls look best in fitted pants/leggings/jeans. For shorts tight or loose works. Tops much more girl specific but generally oversized and fitted work for in shape girls.
Lol funny because it works for me and I don't fall into the fit category
Oversized clothes because they're more comfortable, and I'm not constantly "adjusting" or worrying if what I have on is too tight or clingy.
That and I'm not secure enough with my body to wear fitted clothing. As someone that grew up as the chubby, tomboy? I didn't really start dressing feminine until I lost weight... in my late 20s, early 30s 🤦♀️
Let's just call it a glow up, lol.
Technically I can wear smalls and mediums... but I usually go a size up to be on the safe side.
I'm currently wearing a 2x shirt to sleep and lounge in (it was free). It's WAY too big, but comfortable.
Yeah I was the chubby tomboy too. Lost weight and gained it back. Even when I was at my smallest a 2X wasn't "WAY" too big. I wear 5X shirts to sleep and they are way too big. And nah, I'm not calling it a glow up lol. I hate that term.
Oversized clothes only look good on VERY skinny girls, in other other case they make girls look fat and shapeless (manly). I wish I knew that when I was younger lol
Yes, oversized clothes are comfortable and it's ok to sleep in them but if you want to present well then nothing else will give you that than a fitted top. It doesn't need to be a tight fit, just enough to show off your body shape.
Lol nah. My oversized clothes don't make me look that way and I ain't never been skinny. People have to get over this notion that one thing fits all. Because I still present well when my clothes are bigger.
For sure. I think people think oversized and equate that with sloppy. Which is understandable but not always the case

I like my clothes tight as my... lol
So super loose then?
😂😂😂 sorry I couldn't resist.
Lmaooooo that was gooood
This thread is hilarious!
Lmaooo all love ❤️
@melanieeeB that’s pretty tight girl lol. Must get all wet and hot in those tight clothes…
@Gwenhwyfar sry but that sounds pretty weird to say...
Just being silly 😊
I prefer fitted clothes with a relaxed fit. Too oversized clothes make me look bigger than I am and too tight clothes are also not flattering on the body.. Unfortunately this season, crop tops and extremely oversized shirts are flooding the stores, because of the stupid TikTok trends, so it's impossible to find something that actually fits my body
Everything is cropped!!! And I don't mind a cute crop top but I don't want my wardrobe full of em!
I know right
I can't find a normal shirt 🙄
*can't find a normal shirt anymore
I like a mixture of the both.
Jeans have to fit perfect so I don't need a belt, but on the same time. I love the comfort of tight leggings. The compression from them, helps with the pain from my tumors on my leg.
My t-shirts have to be oversized by one size. I like them to have a lose fit. Dress shirts, must be perfect fit and must match my neck ties
My skirts (Yes, I said skirts. I like to wear skirts.) I like them loose, flowly and long. I can't stand a tight, body confirming, show my body shape type of skirt. Plus you won't catch this man in no mini skirt. (Eyes burning just thinking about it)
I'm all for gender bending, cross dressing and all that, but you don't have to look like a freak to do it.
Fitted. I usually dress feminine so my clothes are usually fitted but also flowy at the same time. Like for example if I wear leggings (fitted) I'll wear a nice long blouse that'll cover my butt and vag and the top will be flowy. It also looks more modest and a little more classy when you cover shit up more.
I’ve always preferred fitted/tomboy. I didn't start wearing loose stuff until after college. I always hated loose stuff because my mom dressed me in oversized stuff as a kid and people couldn’t tell i had a shape.. Then i finally came to the awards shows in tight stuff and they were in shock. I like fitted stuff like below but i could easily replace the heels with flats or converse
What on earth is fitted tomboy? Lol and yeah I had no interest on showing off my shape hardly ever as a teen.
Im into a lot of tracksuits and stuff that comes acros as more tomboyish than girly. But i still like them fitted. Its like how some guys wear tight shirts/vnecks to show off their chest and abs and stuff. And i loved showing off my shape from age 12-21 cause that's when I was rockin my best.
Like India Love, Ciara, Zendaya, Becky G and Aaliyah are tomboys but still wore fitted tomboy styles to show off their shape
India Love? Lmao all she does is show her ass. U less you mean before she became an IG model. Then yeah. And it's not really tomboy. They all just wore fitted crop tops and baggy pants.
@DizzyDesii I'll bet you are still rockin and I know you get better everyday...
Fitted. I think the oversized look is better for tall people or people with amble bosoms that want to be judged by their fashion (more than their body shape).
I am very short so anything oversized gives a more childish look than stylish one.
This is a fair answer. Ample bosom lmaoooo. Definitely me
Fitted when going outside (only when the bottoms are loose). But I prefer oversized at home to keep me comfortable especially when sleeping. I guess for me it depends on my outfit. There are times that I need to wear loose shirt when my bottoms are fitted. And there are also times that I need to wear fitted clothes inside then wear the loose sleeveless dress type on the outside (like a jumper)
oversized is sooo comfy but i’ll usually do one thing oversized one thing tight, so like oversized mom jeans with a tight top or leggings/skirt & tights with an oversized jumper. but if i’m going out for a meal or something nice then i usually will wear all fitted clothing :)
I usually aim for more fitted, my thing always was that I wasn’t that big I’m mass nor in height so oversized clothes only made me look smaller, hence why I go the fitted route as it compliments me more
That makes sense.
How about both?
A combo of oversized sweater and skin-tight leggings?
Generally, I like tops a little looser or layered, but I definitely prefer pants to be form-fitting.
Form fitting tops usually just look a bit boring, in my opinion.
Yes. When I wear leggings, my top is usually a big sweatshirt or something.
I like to wear a good fit but never tight fit...
and at a 200pounds and over just over 6ft tall, oversized clothes would make me look quite ridiculous... lol
Lol nah you'd just look like you stepped outta 2005
lmfao... I sure remember those days, and it was hard to look and be around people
Lmao man 2005 was lit!! I graduated high school. Music was GREAT. Movies were dope. Fashion was insane. I miss it!
😂😂😂 6XL tees
Being a guy, it's kind of hard to pull off the baggy look, unless you're wearing sweatpants
I was gonna say, baggy sweats always look good on guys to me lol
You're probably just checking out our junk lol
Lmaoooo I am not
As a woman, oversized. It’s just so much more comfortable and flowy and I can just be myself whenever I wear oversized. I can wear fitted when it comes to other occasions but..
Yesssss
I like fitted clothing better when I go out because it is somewhat of a confidence boost. But for comfort, I would prefer loose clothing, but I don't think I look good in oversized clothes.
I actually buy both types as I sort am between M and L sizes. Like athletic fits are tighter fight and I'm fine with those for a workout or a hot day kind of thing. Sometimes I wear an L hoodie for that boxy comfy.
It deponds but i have some boys tops that i wear more and i dilsike anthing do with cropped tops or High rise jean. i wear jegging and sometimes legging with boytop that i go to boys section in the shop.
Sounds like the perfect gender bender outfit
I really dont like tight but really like things to fit right, so fitted is perfect.
Never have been a fan of baggy stuff, doesn’t look right on me either
No clothing! Really though, when I have to wear them I prefer oversized. At 5 foot 10 around 160 pounds and olding, I say let's be able to maneuver.
I thought you were over 6ft
Almost 6 with my boots on young lady ;)
Lol I don't know why i used to think you were like a foot taller than me. It's why I called you giant all the time. I mean you're still like half a foot taller but still
Well I'm a giant in many other ways.. Failure? Got it covered ;)
Lol stahp
Neva! :)
Yes!!!
I actually have a mixture of both, but prefer fitted clothes for work and special events/occasions.
I can agree to that
fitted is when im actually trying.
oversized would be when I'm not and like. i just wanna be comfortable
