Do you think that muscular women will ever be represented properly in the fashion world?

There’s lots of ‘body positivity’ for ‘all body type’ campaigns these days aka plus size and not just skinny but besides the usual fit woman and typical fitness brands such as fit jeans and gymshark, not many fashion brands are representing females that are actually muscular, why’s that? You can’t argue it’s because the general population doesn’t look like that because sure but neither is the general population runway skinny.. so doesn’t make sense

Eg have one friend IFBB figure competition modelled in London fashion week that was pretty cool but otherwise not many brands at all. Do you think they should in your opinion? And do you think it will happen? I can never find clothes that fit my body personally and have it wear oversized mens

This is a good question and I honestly don't know. Since muscular women or even men as defined by the example you presented which are professional bodybuilders are seen as "extreme" examples of fitness and rather niche as a result. The average fit and athletically built person does not look like a professional bodybuilder due to the obvious difference in work and attention needed to obtain a professional bodybuilders level of fitness. The average person does not have 6 hours each day to dedicate to workout t maintain that type of physique So when it comes to body positivity having them in the same realm, although is welcomed, isn't highlighted in abundance as a result of the niche category professional body builders fall in.

So for the realm that they are in, I do feel that they get their fair share of representation such as in fitness magazines and athletic advertisements.

Fashion is all about money. Honestly I don't think there is enough of a market to market to. It's not like say ethnic fashion, or plus size fashion, or petite fashion where there are tons of women who fit into those categories. Women in general don't tend to workout to the point where they would be referred to as muscular and so advertisers and designers probably aren't spending a long time marketing or making clothes for them because there is no real place to do so that would profit them and make the endeavor worth it. It would have to be a niche specific market, like at a body building convention or competition where a designer could make things that appeal, but a massive campaign with ads in the mainstream is unlikely.

Nope just like they won't with small women. Whenever I see as called "petite" models there usually 5ft5 that's average and not evey women whose small is petite. Your either fat or thin in the fashion industry

Proper representation will receive a lot of backlash but it would be a good step in the right direction.

No, it is like when I have to buy a suit. The pants are always huge on me and have to be cut down because I have a small waist comparted to my chest. A suit comes with a 6 inch drop.

No, because of the amount of time and effort it take to achieve and maintain the body it won’t happen. Many women want that body but they don’t have the time, and quite often the fact that it takes years to get to that point most give up.

In my humble opinion body positivity is good if a fat person is fat because his sick then its understandable but if fat person does not workout sure he is unhealthy the true way forward us to exercise its not okay being unhealthy.
