What do you consider short, average, and tall for a guy?

For me, I'd say:

5'9 and under: short

5'10 - 6'0: average

6'1 - 6'3: above average

6'4+ tall

I'm 5'8 and I consider myself short. I live in the US.

Therefore, 5'9" plus or minus 1 inch is average. Tall or short would be above or below that 2 inch range.

Google says 5'9 is average.
For me personally, 5'6 and below is short..
5'7-5'10 average, & anything above 5'11 is pretty tall.
& being short isn't a bad thing.

6'7 here. It's too tall to buy normal clothes, but average height for the NBA. =)

I would say 5'9 is pretty average for America at least, but anything below that would be short.
