Can I wear a henley with jeans to a casual date? If so, which henley would you choose?

I'd like to wear my boots, belt (both black) with my light washed jeans and either a red or a blue long sleeved henley.

The date is supposedly casual, we both aren't into fancy stuff anyway.

Or should I still go for something more "special"?

I thought maybe curling my long hair could make the whole outfit better, romantic in a way.
And as for the makeup, I don't really wear much of it, just an eyeliner and mascara.

I wanted to wear my new raspberry lipstick, should I go with it?

I think the red looks spectacular. Throw a skirt in your purse and some leggins for a sudden upscale event. Boom you are set.

The RED is very sticking on you, AND I do wear Henly's a lot and have a multitude of colors. I like the look of them, and I think they are fine for a casual date, and I see nothing wrong with the jeans being worn with it.
A nice Henley is my choice a lot for casual wear.
