A while back I made a question about "barefoot sandals" and if anyone used them, and I told about a time my friend had to go into a store wearing just a pair of these as her "shoes" on the way to the beach, since she forgot her flipflops at home. Noone noticed or said anything to her about it, but she wasn't planning on going into there that way, though she seemed to sort of enjoy it. They don't have soles, but they look cute and many designs give boho vibes
A handful responses from others were that they sometimes go places that way as well, but intentionally. After seeing those she said she wanted to give it a try again to see what would happen, and she did. She said she ran a few errands one night wearing them as her "shoes" and she said again no one said anything, but she had her flipflops in her bag just in case. She is someone who likes not wearing shoes in the summer, so these give her new freedom in a sense.
These aren't that common though, but they were a few decades ago. For a girl who hates wearing shoes when its hot, and live in a small town that is clean, and going out and about involves mostly driving from spot to spot and not having to walk long distances, this would probably be a hidden gem. They can also be paired with flipflops or other things for extra flair. What do y'all think?
