Do you have any tattoos?

I’ve been thinking about getting a tattoo. I used to want one but then I stopped because I’m so indecisive and I’d probably stop liking it after a week. This is the tattoo I’m thinking about getting. In the same spot. I just don’t want to regret it.

Yup I have one. I had no idea what I wanted and had so many ideas but didn’t want to hate it or be ashamed of it. I like Disney, and Pokémon and video games but didn’t want something cringy. Then I got thinking about the ocean and waves so I googled tattoo ideas along those lines and settled on the swirl from disneys moana (swirl in heart of tefiti, her mast and the moana logo) and now I kind of have a theme. I’m drawn to fire and water so my next tattoo is going to be a combination of fire and water plus incorporating a sharks fin or tooth (because sharks are my favourite animal). And then the tattoo I’ve planned for years is going to be my dogs paw print with his heart beat as well as mine on my right forarm. But I won’t be getting that until after he passes.

One day I woke up, I had a quote in my mind and I just knew this was right! I wasn't unsure, I didn't hesitate and I never regretted it... so I would say, if you're unsure, wait a few more months-years

Maybe in 8 years once my artistic niece finishes drawing out the tattoo XD. I said I'd commit to twinning her design if she takes the time to work it out with my sisters close friend. Right now its a flower and a humming bird with some of her favorite lyrics XD. But who knows it might change by the time she becomes of legal age to get a tattoo I'm not gonna judge. What she creates I'm just gonna be supportive of what she comes up with XD. As to where I'd put it probably on the ribs XD. Then for sure it would just be my friends and family who would know it exists and it be easy enough to hide lol.

Some Lady Friend I hung out with gave me a homemade Tattoo and it was John 3:16 well over time it faded away so I never got a new one but if I did it would be professional but I'm stuck with my Conservative views and Religion on whether I would ever get a new one and I'm also stuck in my Liberal views as well so it's a toss-up on what to do I don't want do something against Gods views.

I have 8 tattoos and I’m getting my lower sleeve filled in , in two weeks. If you are indecisive, maybe try ordering fake tattoos off of Amazon and seeing if it’s truly what you would like? I usually sit on tattoo ideas for 6 months before I get them so I am 100% sure it’s what I would like

Tattoos are beautiful art. Problem is like you said what happens when it gets old. I have an uncle who had a tattoo on his arms which I liked and I asked him if I could get one. He said when you get older it becomes ugly. And there is no way to remove the ugliness. I saw the wise in my uncle's eyes.

Yours looks nice. Things to consider are reputation of the artist, quality of the work, design size and color, and placement.

I like your design. I might suggest something slightly smaller in two colors red and green maybe. I'd also be concerned about the tattoo placement; do you want it to be discrete or 'hideable' for some occasions?

I like tattoos obviously so think you should get one the only thing I will say is don't just pick a tattoo from the Internet or from a tattoo artists wall get one that is indivial to you, even if that means picking one off a wall and the artists changes it so its unique to you

I have 2. Got it for my 27th birthday, but I've wanted it since high school/college.

If you think you'll stop liking it then dont get it, lol. Try a non-permanent one thats similar and see how you feel

As someone who has tattoos.  If you are indecisive, do not get it.  Most of mine are memorials for this reason, it will never happen. I adore mine. They are part of me on purpose.
