Should I wear heels on NYE?

I absolutely love wearing stilettos but I just can't last more than a few hours in them. I've got this gorgeous black and gold sparkly dress to wear to the club tomorrow night and I really want to wear my 4 inch sandals. I've tried all my shoes and none of my flats look good with it, besides I really want to wear heels and feel sexy.

It's NYE and the club's going to be super busy so I don't want to have to check in a bag, so I'll just have my clutch and it's too small to take a change of shoes, so if the heels can't go the distance I'm going to have to end up barefoot.

But it's NYE and I really want to make the effort, so is it worth it?

I say wear them. If I see a girl leaving the club with her heels off I think "at least she made the effort" and I don't think any less of her if she's bare foot.

I've never really understood how heels hurt though. It looks to me like your just standing on tip-toes with a bit more support. I'm sure if men wore them I wouldn't have a problem spending a night in some.

You can get fold-up flats that will fit in a clutch, but probably too late for NYE now (and to be honest they don't look great, kinda like glorified socks). But just do whatever makes you happy and if people are giving you odd looks if you end up taking your shoes off then so what?

I LOVE my stilettos, never any issues for me so I'll be wearing them with something really sexy on NYE. Wear the heels and enjoy!!

I'm not really sure what more there is to say. I love the way I look in them and I love the way they feel at the start of the night, but the longer the night goes on the more the balls of my feet feel like they're on fire!

do you try to wear them outside of night out? that's how i manage to get used to it, to wear it as much as possible, no matter what

I've worn them to work a few times but stopped because I felt overdressed for the office. But that's a much more formal style of shoe to what I would wear on a night out.

Like I say, I do love them, just wish they'd love me back a bit more. I've worn this pair out four times before and we're currently tied 2-2 (me vs the shoes staying on all night!)
