Girls, my partner surprised me with Christian Louboutin heels. What should I do?

Hi. I’ve got a dilemma. Things have been tight financially for us over the years. However, recently my husband just came into some money (a decent amount) and splurged on a beautiful pair of Christian Lounoutin heels. He simply wanted me to have them, and since we’re in a better position, wanted me to feel special. So sweet.

However, they’re high! I have small feet and they’re 4” stilettos. I don’t know if I can wear them!

I know how hard he works and how much he loves me. and i know they cost a pretty penny. What should I do?

Do I keep them? Grin and bear it? Learn to enjoy? Return them?

I would keep them and learn to enjoy them. If you try wearing them around the house you may find you like them. If you can’t wear them after giving an honest effort, then tell your husband how much you appreciate them, but you just aren’t comfortable wearing them and would like to exchange them for a different pair of shoes you can wear.

Get him a gift? Treat him to something fun and nice somewhere? What else would you want to do?
