I don't think people have to be thin to be beautiful. As long as they're at a healthy weight that shouldn't be an issue. I'm very skinny but I'm not at a healthy weight at all. But I'm eating healthy and working my way up to one.
She doesn't have to be exactly thin, but being overweight or obese is really not acceptable to me. I don't look like that and I make it a point to stay healthy and fit, and I desire the same in women that I have relationships with. A BMI of 30 or below is very desirable.
Some what thin yes when we think of the most beautiful women throughout history the person most people think of is Marilyn Monroe she wasn’t untra skinny but that’s what we think is the standard beautiful women.
@nolookingbackx nice one of my favorite actresses from that era is Veronica Lake she was the women who started the “ peekaboo blonde”. Trend plus she was the girl WW2 pilots would paint off the side of their aircraft and go into battle against the Germans and Japanese. Plus (I might be wrong about this). I’m pretty sure she’s the one who inspired the drawing of Jessica Rabbit. She was big in the 1940s
These are some interesting facts. I know Veronica Lake, her beauty was truly outstanding. I am often watching movies from that era. One of my favourite actresses are Elizabeth Taylor and Katharine Hepnurn. I also adore Hedy Lamarr and some more.
@nolookingbackx right they’re all very beautiful women. Honestly I haven’t watched much of Katherine Hepburn or Elizabeth Taylor. I don’t think I’ve seen a movie with Hedy Lamarr. I’m more of a John Wayne guy or Humphrey Bogart. Personally, I love my westerns, especially John Wayne. One of the best scenes in all of Cinema was when Hondo through a little kid into a river to teach him how to swim and the actress Geraldine Page came out and said “help him he can’t swim” and he says “he’ll learn” the kid successfully makes it across the river” and Geraldine Page ask how he’s gonna get back Hondo says “swim” Geraldine Page says “ What if he drowns” Honda say “ well, then you go get them” Geraldine Page says “ Well I can’t swim either.” Then that look it’s only of the best scene ever
I think if they look like a literal ball then they most likely are ugly. From the overweight people I’ve seen and met. They really aren’t attractive to the masses. Maybe a few might think they are pretty but overall not so much.
I’m the short term, it’s possible to be very over weight and still attractive, but in the long term, your body shape will fall apart and you will lose your skin tightness and attractive curves.
And what if I am? If I ever gain weight and become obese, what problem would it present for you? If I were to drop my gym routine and start pigging out like I wish I would, how exactly would that affect your life?
If you want to become obese, that is your choice, but young and future generations will see it and say if others are doing it, then I can too. Obesity is one of the leading causes of death in the USA because we’re taking all this empowerment shit way too far up to a point where feelings are more important than facts.
I don’t want my future kids to deal with all this, especially if they’re girls - you as a woman understand the immense pressure society puts on women when it comes to aesthetics.
Naturally, I will raise them correctly and tell them to listen to science and know right vs wrong, and tell them you can ignore reality all you want, but the consequences of ignoring reality will NOT be ignoring you.
Should I go on a magazine and tell people getting cancer is cool? Lol
@Inbox I don't think Ashley is obese. She is a little bit bigger but you can still see her waist and nice curves. Really obese people lose these curves and mostly look like balls.
@nolookingbackx She was around 200 pounds before she lost weight. Generally speaking, BMI around 30 is not only considered obese, but unhealthy and her BMI was at 29.7. Being fat does not automatically equate to health problems, but it increases the odds significantly in the future - most of my family is in medical. The other question is if she was so confident about her plus size, why would she lose weight? She had a few kids, so maybe that affected it?
Nope. I don’t think skinny girls are attractive at all. I like a little softness and padding to hold onto. I find the body type in the first picture much more appealing.
Not at all. All shapes and sizes are beautiful. Even when someone doesn't look like a model, having a kind heart makes them the most beautiful in the room.
firstly weight is a HEALTH issue, so very important to consult doctors , if too much how to change eating habits. secondly if a pretty got fat i feel she lost it.
But like I said, skinny doesn't necessarily mean healthy. As long as she doesn't reach the weight level of Nikocado Avocado and HungryFatChick, she's fine.
My Uncle died of leukemia in 1993, he was skinny. He was 16.
My best friend's Mom had bad back problems, and died due to heart issues. She was skinny, and 52 years old.
And like I said, people like you love to pretend to be doctors and dieticians.
Never said you were. Just saying I, personally, don't find it physically attractive and the reason it's generally not is because it's a sign of unhealth or bad habits. But that is not to say that someone can't be beautiful on the inside, it just takes the right person or some time and work to make people see past the wobbly stuff.
I'm not exactly fit either, fyi. But I have no illusions about what is does to my external beauty.
Why would we? It's obvious that thinner women will be the most appealing to the majority of men, as well as women don't like fat men. But to some people a healthy looking woman is fat and that's crazy. Here I am talking about size S/M.

I think it's more about what's inside that makes a person beautiful. :)
@Adogdog Exactly. I have friends who also have weight issues too and they're the greatest people in my life I could ask for. As well as my mom.

I agree. Women were so beautiful in the 1950s. Simply healthy looking bodies with nice curves.

Guys will try to say no, but the answer is yes from them
the second I gain weight my face shape changes and guys HATE that and I have had these conversations with them on here about that

That girl is literally me...
I don't think I need to be thin, but I think it would be easier for me in some ways if I was...
Not at all. Ashley Graham is one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen and she's not a thin woman. Hell, I sometimes wish I'd looked like her
I don't actually know any men that find Ashley Graham attractive.
*looks down at vagina* well I'll be damned
…. So you want to incentivize obesity?
And what if I am? If I ever gain weight and become obese, what problem would it present for you? If I were to drop my gym routine and start pigging out like I wish I would, how exactly would that affect your life?

@nolookingbackx She weighed 190+lbs, if she's not obese then she's 6 feet tall and that's just splitting hairs because she still is unnaturally huge.

No.
But someone who empties a fridge in one fucking sitting isn't going to be "beautiful" in anyone's book, but an American heart surgeons.

Beauty is in face for me like architecture of the skull and way she communicates her little peciluar movements her eyes her smile.
Chubby gal is fine but not fully obese.
Thin girls scare me they look like the mantis 😱
firstly weight is a HEALTH issue, so very important to consult doctors , if too much how to change eating habits. secondly if a pretty got fat i feel she lost it.
No, however being fit suppresses dying of natural causes at earlier ages
But like I said, skinny doesn't necessarily mean healthy. As long as she doesn't reach the weight level of Nikocado Avocado and HungryFatChick, she's fine.

I am actually in school for dietetics and pretending like taking care of health doesn’t give you better chances of living longer is silly.
She doesn't have to be thin, I actually prefer athletic women. I'm not into fat though, so certainly not this example.
Health is beautiful.
Living to retirement age beautiful.
Fully Functional organs are beautiful.
Bones that aren’t vulnerable to fractures are beautiful.
No, she does not have to be thin.
But there is also a difference between being thin and being wobbly.
Points to health.
What do you mean being wobbly?
I just mean, when the fat can make waves on the body by moving it.
I'm not talking about when someone is naturaly curvy. I'm tslking about excess fat.
Well, I giggle around a bit due to weight gain but no, I'm not obese.
Never said you were. Just saying I, personally, don't find it physically attractive and the reason it's generally not is because it's a sign of unhealth or bad habits.

Girls would love if the answer was no. Fantasy land

Ok maybe not you
No, I think for a woman to be truly attractive, she should weigh a minimum of 150-160 pounds or more.
im thin fit and i want thin fit guy, but if he is average its not a dealbreaker but if he is fat that would probably be a no
