I don't know why but the last time I showed a picture of myself some people assumed I photoshopped it, which is kind that y'all think I'm talented but I never learned how to do photoshop. My waist isn't even that small 'cause I've seen IG models with waists as wide as their heads. These are different pictures different timelines.
I did gain a little weight over the years. And yeah I felt the need to prove it.
Between photoshop and surgeries being so common today, this waist is very common in 2023.
Before 2023 most had it from filters and photshop
today, most have it due to surgery
so wether is natural or enhanced by a surgeon, it’s not uncommon to see this so I don't know what people would be so surprised to see small waists.

My phone got upgraded from an iphone 8 to an iphone 13 pro. Do you now understand? Also no one is getting surgery at 16. I was 16 in some of these pictures
The second one is also blurrier than the third one since the second one is zoomed in. Also was probs bloated in that one
Well teen years if you’re not eating like a pig most have small waists it’s not abnormal unless you live in a predominantly fat state like Ohio or predominantly hispanic neighborhood where the average girl weighs 70 pounds

In regards to age and surgery. Many women have their first surgeries between 14 and 15

I feel you on that one. In a way, I wish I was like that too. Everytime time I look in the mirror & see a "flaw," I can't help but think to myself "Would I really view this as a flaw if there were nobody here to judge it? How much of my attempts at bettering myself are heavily influenced by outside perception?" It's hella conflicting trying to be fully secure in ourselves but realizing that human perception of us can literally alter our lives trajectory.
However, since I don't think it's humanly possible to completely get rid of it, I think we need to care to a certain extent in order to maintain a healthy balanced ego. The healthy part is just finding the balance. And that might even involve having good people in our lives to help balance the scales.

I think it's always something humans will struggle with. It's definitely always going to be something that I'll struggle with.
I do notice that what helps me a lot is to remember my baseline. For instance, my body right now isn't very impressive if I were a bodybuilder. But compared to my super scrawny baseline, I've made a lot of good progress! Helps with any body dysmorphia I struggle with. I respect the progress I've made & I understand first hand what it took to get this figure. I don't need a lot of outside validation personally because I validate myself enough. I understand how the body should look when it is healthy & that matters most!
So basically, I like to focus on the things in my control & the things I can actively change for the better while trying my hardest to not pay much emotional attention to the things that aren't in my control as much. I want them to simply exist in a way that helps me establish how to better navigate obstacles.
A good thing to think is "What would a reasonable person think of me?" Or maybe even "what would God think of me?" (if you're the religious type) The reason I believe this way of thought is so important is because it helps us weed out opinions that shouldn't matter much. I firmly believe that not every opinion is equally valuable to us.
People should earn their spot at our tables. For instance, a King or Queen wouldn't put much value in a peasant sitting at their table criticizing their way of life. They'd consider the opinions of those more similar to them. Those they can trust. Those who understand their lifestyle more accurately & what it truly takes to be them/what they go through.
It's why you might have heard people people say that when you receive criticism from an enemy, consider it & talk about it with a trusted friend. A truthful & truly beneficial friend for you will be able to acknowledge any truths the enemy said while also highlighting the flaws. And of course, it helps to even be that friend for ourselves.
I feel like hate comments get to me the most tho.. I'm already insecure so they just push me further into a hole of sadness
I don't have any real social media anymore. I don't use instagram, facebook, snapchat,... I do use tiktoks for fun videos of my bird but not for watching video's and yeah youtube and stuff

I notice that especially with women, if there's nothing wrong with your body or especially if it looks better than the vast majority of women's bodies, other women may want to be mean. Then you'll see the adverse affect if a woman has a below average looking body. She might get a looot of love from women in the form of pity. But both instances aren't true, do you see? It's just noise.
