Less is more. These are all quite fashionable now, but think about how a nose piercing might cause you issues when you have a cold, as in, it leaks, and how painful it'll be while it heals. And the fact that you'll have to keep wearing that ring to keep that hole open, or it closes up and you'll need another piercing.

Also, you can't wear some at particular straight jobs. Same is true for tattoo sleeves or loads of tattoos. Choose with the future in mind. If you don't know you're future, maybe put them off for now.

some might look good and some might look bad... it all depends on a few things

personally... I do think that the bigger they are, the less good looking it will be, for me anyway, just one opinion of many, lol

Nose RINGS - usually, no. Sorry, it just reminds me of certain... animals... that their nose rings prevent... them... from rooting and digging. And with some people, if looks like if the sneezed they could "pistol whip" someone. Part of it seems like it'd be really germy in there, which might bring infection. Maybe not, but I think that's the assumption.

I DO kind of like the little tiny studs on the side of the nose (vs the large ones on the far cheek). I personally think those are better because you can take them out and it will heal up easier and be less noticeable or painful than getting tattoos removed. Now days it might be subtle enough (and accepted enough) that people might be able to get away with it, too.

I'm female and I don't like the look of any type of facial jewelry as I think it looks a cheap slutty and not one bit sexy. I can't tell you the number of what were probably pretty good workers that I was unable to hire because the owner of the restaurant that i manage will not allow any type of facial jewelry except for those very small diamond studs found on the nose. No facial or full arm tattoos' either.

Anything looks good on you. If you’re hot to begin with. Clothes, Jewelry, Tattoos, Piercings. Only look good if you’re Hot, and Fit already. If your face is attractive to begin with. I know I’m not a guy, but I like septum rings, provided that they’re simple and not chunky/flashy. As for nostril piercings, I think that a ring looks trashy. I think a plain silver or black stud looks much nicer.
