Women lose their cologne quicker which means they get the wrinkles faster. It's why I'll be the same age as some cashier also in her 40's and she thinks I'm some fucking punk under 21 trying to get my alcohol. I'll be like "bitch... look at my grey hair on the sides of my head, you really think I'm under 21?" Not only that but I provide my state license and a military ID card... I'm not trying to fake my fucking age with all of that shit. Even my Passport shows my damn age. I'm a 40-something-year-old with a drinking habit... It's not my fault you have more wrinkles than my balls do! (Not you, those chicks behind the counters)
I mean if some dude really feels like he needs to rub cream on his face all the time... have at it bro... I just think it's a waste of fucking time though because you're a dude. We don't need the same level of "self-care" that chicks do.

Honestly I feel like females will always be advocates for skincare, but I've never used any skincare products. Just good ole soap, water, and a little olive oil to rub into dry skin skin occasionally and people have never said anything bad about my skin. If anything I get occasional compliments about my skin. Skincare routines are a joke. Just exfoliate your skin properly and make sure you don't dry it out with harsh chemicals and hot water.

MEN just like women want to look good and in today's world it's important to take care of yourself. MEN also need to treat their skin although in different ways than women, so they use cosmetics of another type. However, when you start overexagerating and using more and more cosmetics and spending all your time in front od the mirror and checking if everything is fine with your skin then IT becomes a problem.
we are entitled to take care of ourselves as we see fit
I don't judge or evaluate
My bathroom has enough space for two skincare sets anyway :D

Absolutely not, i had an ex complain a lot! about his ageing skin and there was so many ways even i could treat him, and offered, a lot! but he never wanted to put in the effort same as the gym i built in my garden... it would show me you have self love.. i have paid attention to mine since teenage years, a massage routine with a cream.. keep out of sun as much as possible, change products every so often, even if just a short break, not that you would need this yet unless you had any scarring or large pore skin texture, but derma rolling i swear by... enhance and evolve your interest, research natural things, try to find products as natural as possible.. this kind of expression of interest is about self care, trying to make moves to be the best version of you, so this proves it is but one facet of you, leading through a lifetime of looking after yourself... we have been given the gift of a physical body to experience life on earth.. so the instinct to nurture the temple we live in, will ultimately benefit you in every way... keep it up and dr. organic products based in the uk small independent business... are superb... amazon uk has them... if you want to chat about any products or skin questions, please do ask. im a master herbalist...
Sort of, but to each their own. Mostly, I don't believe that shit work.
Some woman at work strongly suggested that everybody should have some skincare regime ie me. I was thinking to myself, well your skin health is reflective of your organ health, which is reflective of your diet and emotions. I can trace any facial 'weathering' on bad habits, ie I eat too many dry and baked goods and I believe that is reflected in my skin and a little premature greying. Sweet FA to do with not using some such potion.
My mum and dad have good skin and few wrinkles for their advanced age. I have their good genes.
It depends on the extent of this interest. I mean... I've become a bit interested in it myself recently, but I do not go too far in it and I totally accept living the rest of my life with the imperfect skin I have right now. If simple stuff turns out to work, it's fine, but I'm not going out of my way to cure the apparently incurable. The man's greatest value is the power he possesses, looks are secondary and should never be considered top priority (unless he wants to attract just about any girl in his vicinity, but I find it unhealthy in its own right). Though... What's actually feminine is the insecurity. A man should just do what he wants to do, sometimes even daring to cross the line drawn by the law. If a man is insecure about what he's doing, that's what's the most "feminine".
No, having an interest in skincare is not inherently feminine. Skincare is a universal practice focused on maintaining skin health, regardless of gender. In recent years, there has been a positive shift in societal attitudes, recognizing that self-care, including skincare, is important for everyone. Many skincare brands now offer products specifically designed for men. Caring for one's skin is a personal choice linked to health and well-being, and societal norms are evolving to embrace a more inclusive understanding of self-care practices for individuals of all genders. Ultimately, everyone deserves to prioritize and enjoy their skincare routines without gender stereotypes.
https://www.youtube.com/embed/P1nUW2LK4gAHaving a good hygiene and looking after yourself is important, yes you don’t need to go the full hog. From shaving and using decent blades with quality soap helps, to making sure you look after yourself, going running and any distance stuff on a bike does mean buying stuff. I work outside a lot, get exposed to chemicals, fuel etc and use barrier cream, moisturiser. It’s my body I don’t really want to smell or have crap skin. Looking after your hygiene and body is important to me.
Well I can get eczema and it is a bugger. So yeah.
I don't think it helps any guy to look like they are 18 as it helps girls to look 18 but it probably does help us to look 30's for longer. An older guy I know decided not to use soap and he still looks 30ish so it seems to have worked for him.
With everything I am exposed to, being out in the weather, on my bikes, I use sun block and a basic lotion.
For some odd reason my legs from my knees to my ankles tend to get dry and itchy in the winter so I put some on them and it helps out a lot..
No, I use alcohol free moisturizer after I shower, wash my face with cold water when I get home from work, swab my face and neck down with witch hazel before bed. I don't smoke and stay hydrated. I take care of my skin and hair. I only use hot-water when I'm shaving or soaking sore muscles and always rinse in cold water.
Taking care of your skin is healthy and not feminine. While women take care of their skin more than men it's more of men neglecting skincare rather than lots of women wanting to put motion and such. However if you put excessive skincare products that's just gay
I think it's okay. I have masculine habits like staring at my food when I'm eating instead of at my friends at the lunch table so that I don't spill my food when I eat. Nobody is 100% like their gender stereotype.
No, not at all.
But honestly, I don't consider many things "feminine" that others would. Not too feminine at all! Especially not when you consider that better skin care for most men could be something as simple as putting on lotion regularly. Men really need to get better about skin care regimens.
Nope, I find it attractive when a guy takes time to care for himself with hygiene and to look good
Not at all. Everyone should take care of their skin, it's your bodies largest organ and it'll keep you looking young.
Feminine n masculine are both energ energies for god sake.. why didn't most people understand this? Feminine driven by feelings n emotions.
Masculine driven by logic n truth.
You taking care of the your sin skin got nothing to do with neither feminine nor masculine but yeah doing that for others validation n attention then its a feminine trait. Not at all
I'm lucky that drinking enough water does it for me without having to use slin products
But there's nothing masculine with not using essential skin products and roaming around with terrible skin and acneIs not feminine at all in my opinion. You should care as much for your skin as you care for your hygiene, hair, bread. Skin is the longest organ in your body and also deserves some love.
Nah, especially since I especially have to do some skincare with eczema on my hands and rosacea on my face.
However you’ll never catch me with those copper roller thingies or whatever, those just look like pseudo science junk to me.😂Absolutely not. Take care of your skin and start early, young gun.
