I started wearing glasses in 2010 and I always hated having to do so. But I’m not brave enough to try contacts. When I first got them, I got annoyed that some classmates kept calling me auntie and some even said I looked like my grandma. I was practically walking around near blind just to avoid hearing that shit. I once switched to the transition glasses but then was told i looked like a hippie. Once I got to college, dudes seemed to be more into me wearing glasses. But the dude i’m with now kinda annoys me with his unwanted opinions. He’s constantly saying “You’re so fckin pretty with your glasses off. You’re just so fckin beautiful with your glasses off.” Like damn, what am i when I have them on? Chopped liver? Lol. I mean I’m not the biggest fan of his glasses either since they remind me of the serial killers in The Lovely Bones, but he's still a fckin hot peter parker whether they are on or off. He’s just gonna have to deal and I just have to accept the lack of his compliments when I have em on because a mf cannot see clearly 😂🤷♀️ Plus the only time he seemed to be into me with my glasses on was when i popped the lens out of my 3D glasses 😩 #FeelFreeToList
OMG , this dam topic !
I hated glasses , and I hated wearing classes , BUT , in reference to your example , I love women in glasses , the girl in black looks awesome , I have no idea why I think that.
So here was my quest , I was a good junior golfer , probably peaked around 16 - 17 , but I couldn't see the ball for sht , not until I got to where the ball was , so I started trying to play in glasses , now dont forget , I'm playing in serious circumstances , so I had a number of things to deal with - Glasses frame and fit ( head movement ) , my then mass of long hair. rain , but this head movement ( slight ) meant I could only go for a certain frame , did all this for 4/5 years , changed to contacts which were a great deal better , and contacts progressed and progressed , wore them for 20 years plus ..
Then ( non golf environment ) I started just putting in one , then I changed back to glasses but only wore to drive , if I went out Id just chuck in one contact , now dont forget back then people used to smoke in bars , this was a problem with the contact.
Then in 2008 , after carrying around a script for a decade , I spent 5k AUD$ and went and had the latest miracle lazer , best thing ever , 15-16 years on however , I could do with another light zap , still pass for driving and the like with nothing , can see the golf ball , but not as well as some can.
So , long answer that hardly answers the question , but thats my life with my eyes --lol , and over time , they have done really well , after not a great start , the weakness being on my mothers side , dam her !

Definitely without. I used to go clubbing a lot in my 20s and I used to be confused why I would have an easy time getting a date on some nights and not others. Then I figured it out; it was the glasses. I wasn't at all insecure about wearing glasses but I almost never got a date with them on. With contacts, much easier.
Not really sure. I've had to wear glasses almost all of my life (my vision was bad even when I was a baby). I've tried to do contacts, but I never could get them in during the practice part, so I never got to wear any. My mom thinks I'd look good without glasses. But I'm fine keeping my glasses and getting new ones every few years. Plus, I've heard horror stories with contacts so maybe it's for the better.
I personally don't like the way I look with glasses. I think I look better without 'em. But guys have told me I look "smart" and "sexy" with them.
Since you wear them the majority of the time, whenever you do take them off and he sees your face he probably just appreciates your pretty face lol. Better than him saying, "Baby you look better with your glasses on. " lol

I’ve been wearing glasses since 2010 off and on sometimes but onward through the years, I got near sight and wore them everyday which is a drag and thinking to get LASIK soon to have for discount. But to your question, I’d look good with and without them but more without them since I guess brings out more attraction to how I look with them and had people talked about me before wearing glasses and I’ve never tried contacts myself fearing what of em MF’s get stuck and that’s my eyes 😂😂 but the stressful part about it going to places when the sun is out or go to an event, I’d like to wear cool loc shades but I can’t due to me blinded and without my glasses off, I’m ray charles 😂
Plus, your boyfriend sounds like a bit of a jerk with the way he's always goin on about how much "prettier" you are without your glasses. Like, is he tryin to make you feel self-conscious or somethin? Screw that.
First off, you gotta do what's best for YOU and your vision, not what some guy thinks makes you look the hottest. Who cares what people called you in high school - that's in the past. And real talk, a lotta guys are into girls in glasses these days. Your boyfriend swoonin over you popping the lens outta 3D glasses really shows his opinion don't matter much lol.
Honestly, you look fine either way. Your boyfriend just needs to appreciate YOU, not some idealized version of how you look without your glasses. Maybe give him a taste of his own medicine and start complimenting how hot HE is with his glasses off since he wants to dish it out. Then be like "nah but you still cute with em on too babe." Flip the script on him!
Bottom line, rock your glasses if they help you see straight. Don't let any dude make you self-conscious about something you need. You're smokin hot with or without, and your man should recognize that.
Wear them. I hated my first pair when I was 13 and refused to wear them to read. Then two years later I needed them all the time but I was able to get decent (for the time) frames.
Last year I went to my usual optician and got a set of prescription specs and a set of prescription sunglasses AND prescription reading glasses. The issue I had was the optician had an arrangement with his suppliers to only provide really expensive frames. That looked terrible.
This year I got new specs and sunnys from a new place and I'm much happier with the look.
Either way I can't drive legally without the damn things. My prescription hasn't changed much so I didn't get new readers as well.
I look better without specs, but I can't see. My prescription is on the cusp of what lasic surgery can correct because of my astigmatism - which is really bad. Unless they can fix that it's not worth having surgery as I'll still need glasses afterwards.I think I'll have ones soon. 🤓 I don't care much for how I look. Personally, I like people with glasses. Esp, hot or cute girls and guys. They seem to be nerdy and spark my curiosity to initiate a conversation with them.
Your boyfriend might want to kiss you all the time?
I personally hate wearing glasses that is why I have contacts and my glasses are back up only. Some people look better with and some look better without. Usually a attractive person looks good with and without but may look better one way or the other. I'm assuming the girl pics are you? You look good with glasses I'm sure you look good without.
I’m not sure really. Depends on the glasses. I’m breaking in a new pair now. My last pair were definitely ‘old man’ glasses. Those will now become my backup/home/travel pair. I think my new pair are sexier. They’re my new office pair. At least unless/until my partner asks me to switch… 🤔😉😂
@IslaTheProfessor lol
I was told I look good with glasses and will stick to this opinion :DIf that’s you in these pictures, these glasses do look good on you. 👍
Contact lenses provide better eyesight especially for people with high diopters, but they are a hassle with cleaning and always bringing a case and fluid with you.Ah! How guys fuck up compliments is the lesson here. :)
I only have glasses for reading and if I tried walking around with reading glasses I'll trip over. I think I look better remaining vertical.
Sunglasses sure but regular reading glasses, I’ve yet to come across a pair that makes me look remotely a 5.5.
thankfully I don’t have to wear glasses. When I don’t have my glasses on, I’m not completely blind but things are awfully fuzzy. I have to wear my glasses all the time. I think I look fine with them on. The only time I’ve don’t wear them is when I’m in the shower.
I used to wear contacts, but the older I got the less I cared. I never thought about it much until my glasses broke and had to wear my spare black frames. Kept getting compliments, so now I wear black plastic frames. I'm goofy looking either way 😂
I got my eyes lasered about 7 years ago, best thing I did. I would say I'm equally attractive before and after.
I tend to wear sunglasses whenever the sun is out but don't think they help (other than covering up more of my face 😀).you misunderstood, instead of making imply, realize he complimented the real you, under your glasses.
i think i look good with both, so either works for me
With. Glasses subconsciously make people think you are more intelligent. That’s why MLK used to wear them although he didn’t need them. Plus I just like the way women look with them.
I don't even know how I look without glasses. Apparently I look really different because a highschool teammate who had never seen me expect during practice didn't recgonize me when he saw me wearing glasses, he thought I had a twin.
I only wear blue light or just glasses for style with my fits and work purposes lolz. I looked good with both.
I don't know how I'd look currently the last time I tried on a pair of glasses was gosh 10 years ago? And I looked pretty nerdy back then.
I think I look better without the glasses, but I love the way my wife looks in hers.
I think I look better, although rimlass glasses don't show very much.
