Purchasing ANYTHING from amazon is a bad idea. The quality of products has gone to Hell. I might get a book there, but not much else.

It's like the sellers figured out that people were buying the products without being able to hold them during the pandemic, and the only thing important now is that it LOOK good in the photo.

Between that, and hiring 10,000 third world children to upvote the products, it's all trash.

Depends. If you see the thing says "plated" don't bother because it won't keep its shine or original color. If it's a mostly-plastic/cloth/wooden statement piece then you're ok.

If it's a piece originally from Greece or India it's usually better quality, but double check the company and the return policy.

There are some porch pirates stealing boxes delivered to doors and once something like that is stolen getting it back is nearly impossible, if caught with it the thief will simply say it belongs to them and then there is no proof. Maybe order it on a day you can be certain you will be there all day.

It's not a bad idea. Their return policy is great too if you don't like the product. Just make sure to check the reviews for stuff and check to see if the merchant is legit as with any online shop. You should also check Shein. It usually has cheaper prices than Amazon for clothing and jewelry.

The jewelry on there is incredibly bad quality. They don't polish the bands properly, the rock settings are gross and the stones will be subpar. Even when compared to other fakes.

I've don't the product shots for thousands of those rings and necklaces. I've done everything from cheap $30 rings to Breitling watches where they send it to you with the glass removed so the crystal doesn't reflect off the lights.

Every time we used to do the Amazon jewelry shots we had to send them out to a company in Israel to get retouched by dozens of people because of all the scratches and imperfections that show up on the bands.

We also spent a lot of time polishing them and then having to pluck dust away because the imperfections would snag things on the cloth.

If it's just for going out partying with friends, they're fine but definitely don't try to go out to a nice dinner or high level job interview with those.

If it costs more than $400 I would not buy it on Amazon cause it could get stolen. I know you have laptops being sold for more than that but when the package is larger it's harder to steal cause there is more infrastructure to audit the proper delivery of obviously expensive packages like lap tops or cell phones.

Not bad, it will be costume jewelry though. So if your skin is sensitive to metals like nickel I wouldn't do it.

I definitely wouldn't recommend getting any body piercing jewelry from there as often only part of it is surgical steel or titanium. Don't end up with a burn scar on your nipple like me 🙃

There is absolutely nothing wrong purchasing jewelry from Amazon. I’ve done it so many times. Amazon actually has really good jewelry pieces like if you really take your time and look you could find some really nice stuff on there.

They authenticate it so it's safer than a sketchy jewelry store, and you can return it. If you're buying over $10,000 always get it checked with another jeweler anyway.

Double check the sizes. If it's from abroad, especially China, the sizes may not be the same as they are in the US. Check the reviews and where the jewelry is made. Make sure you can return it.
