Should I get surgery to look like this filter? ?

So apparently you CAN take your filtered photo to a surgeon and they can analyze how to make your face look like the filter.

the last image below shows an example of a woman who took her filtered photo and then had surgeries done to look like the filter and she looks even nicer than the filter. -

what do you guys think? i always feel the filters make the nose look weird or just totally different than what you really look like. That’s why I never use them, and because I feel it’s dumb when people use them when we already know you don’t actually look like your photos. Delusional.

But with surgery you WOULD look like your photos 😁

Oh god no, please do not do that to yourself! You need to learn to love yourself for who you are, and how you look! The fake person in the filter pic, frankly looks like a child! It’s not an attractive look for any adult. Well unless you want to attract men who like 14yo little girls!

There is nothing wrong with getting a little work as we age, to maybe look a little younger, or to accentuate our best features, or diminish the one thing we truly dislike about ourselves. But making yourself look the way you do with a filter, is like making yourself tool like a different person, and if it is psychological, there is nothing guaranteeing that you will like what you look like when you are done! Also, it’s bordering on a body dysmorphic disorder (BDD). I’ll leave a link to an article at the bottom from Mayo Clinic, and other’s that describes it, and any I can find quickly that expound on the condition, especially as it relates to the use of filters, I’ll share those with you too!

Please, if you truly feel you need this surgery, then at least talk to a professional therapist before you do anything that drastic to your face. Also, NEVER forget about all of the celebrities who got plastic surgery, and it failed. Not because of the surgeon, but because of how their body reacted to the surgery, and they look so much worse afterwards! You could end up looking far worse than any perceived flaws you may have now. I just truly hope you get the help you need. What you do not need is to look like that little girl, at the age of between 36 - 44!

Just the way you are, you are stunning! Allow your body and yourself to develop organically. A few years ago, I was highly interested in doing plastic surgery. I even obtained consultations by calling around. Thankfully, I didn't! I couldn't possibly forgive myself if I had gone through it. I'm still smiling, and happy to see myself in the mirror. Wow are you serious? When you see women who look more attractive than others you prefer the others because the more perfect ones likely have had surgeries? I feel that’s not honest. Men are very visual and if you get a chance with the better looking ones, I’m inclined to think you won’t even bother with the ones that look less attractive than the better ones?

But I found this one and felt it kind of looks like me still just extra cute lol and it’s what made me think of maybe I can actually do small Permanent changes that will help me look like this without trying. Yes I would say because the filter shortens it more while giving you large eyes. I don't know if you have naturally full cheeks but combined with the shorted face and large eyes it makes the picture look like a child.

The proportions. Nothing by itself, but all put together the nose, mouth, chin end up looking noticeably shorter than most adults. The eyes are big, which makes the others look even smaller by comparison. Cheeks are full, which is also less common for adults. Nothing by itself looks like a child, but all combined it definitely has that effect. I assume part of it is the filters doing, at least the chin. I've used a lot of filters just to see how I'd look & most of them make the chin narrower/shorter & the eyes bigger.

It doesn't help that the other woman whose pictures you show has a longer/oval face which looks very opposite yours. You probably don't look much like a child at all without the filter & compared to other adults with similar face shape to your own. But with the filter & compared to this particular other woman it's much more noticeable unfortunately.

Actually the girl who actually had the surgeries done to look like her filter did have chin reduction twice.

My face is not naturally long like hers I have short sound face. Since I already do have a shirt face, I think the filter shortening it even more is what might make some people think it looks child like.
In real life strangely at my age people confuse me for 16 year old sometimes 20 if I dress up, so I’m assuming my face already has a young appeal but not like a child.

The eyes get slightly pulled downward in this filter is what I noticed, and it pulls the eyebrows down as well, but in real life most people get surgeries to pull the eyes up cat like, and the eyebrows as well, women always lift them to look younger but this is doing the complete opposite. That’s interesting.

Maybe if the surgeon doesn’t make my face shorter than it already is but does the rest might still achieve the look but without the child appeal that’s weird mix

That makes sense. If you didn't reduce the chin or lower the eyes then it probably wouldn't make you look too young. I am not sure what else would be done though. What are you wanting to change about your face? If you could find a filter that just changes that without the rest, it would be easier for you to tell if you'd be happy with those results.

I just saw this filter and tried to figure out what it did to my face exactly to see if I could actually do those changes and that’s when I bumped into other people who actually had it done surgically and needed up looking even better than the filter.

The more I look at it, the more I’m starting to think it might be the eyes that make the cuteness. Because it’s making the eye look like when they draw those cute puppy eyes on pets that makes us go aw but instead not so wide and round and more human like here in this filter.

It’s not that I want to change my face, it never occurred to me until I saw myself with this filter. If you see yourself and suddenly you see yourself but more attractive, you would want to look like that too, I mean in general and it’s not that you dislike how you look but everyone always wants to look better. I think. That’s why we get ready to go places etc

I think I understand that. There are things about my appearance I'd definitely want to change. I'm just personally way too freaked out by the idea of surgery to actually do anything like that lol.

But if you have a good idea what you want to change to look better to yourself, what you could do to "test it out" before committing to surgery could be makeup. There's a lot of different things you can do with makeup like contour & eyeliner that can make your face & features look much different. It takes practice though and surgery would not look exactly the same of course.

I've started using makeup for the things about my face I want to change some to improve, and it has helped a lot. There's limits but in general, it's a good way to enhance ur natural look or alter it a bit & see what you like best. You may find a look that's not quite like this filter but you like even better. :) Either way then you could have more confidence what you want to change with surgery, and what you can change without, & you'll already be good at using makeup in the way you want so you won't have to relearn it as much after getting a surgery if you do get one.

Another thing you could play with is hair style, that can look different and make your face shape look a little better or worse depending on what style you like best. It can also make you look older/younger a bit depending on the style, so if you do end up liking a face adjustment that makes you look younger you could maybe counteract the age thing with a little different hairstyle? But I don't know you may run into a similar problem instead so, maybe if you're already happy with your hair don't worry about changing that.

Thank you that’s good advice but just takes so much time. That’s the difference with surgery I believe it’s effortless if it’s done well and nothing bad happens in the process. If I were 100% sure I’d just do it without trying to get advice but I’m scared to be botched or die 😐 for the something that was not a necessity. So wasn’t sure if it was worth the risk.

The surgeon would have to look at it and say which surgeries I need to achieve that.
It appear like the filter moves my lip up and moves my eyebrows down, which is completely they opposite of what real girls do to themselves. In real life lost girls lift the eyebrows either with makeup, tinting or surgery and they plump the lips with injections making them more heavy and bringing them more down on the face.
This filter didn’t make my lips big, it pretty much left them the same but placed them more up to make my face look shorter it appears. Not sure about the chin, they will probably have to move it too if they move the lips lol I don’t really know I’m not a surgeon I just tried to look back and forth the difference between reality and filter and that’s what I see. I also think they made the eyes slightly wider from the bottom which I never thought anyone would want to do but it looks like it and looks much better on the face most people who get eye surgery get the cat eye look. This is the complete opposite.
