Do your tattoos or body modifications carry deep personal meaning?

Yes there are some that are very deep and personal. Some have memories of family members that have passed, I see quite a few of the girls with babies who put the kid or kids name on with one. Others put a special to them saying, birthday, or zodiac sign. Many of the older (mostly men who fought in different wars might have a tat of their unit, branch or specialty while serving.

The only thing that I have done is have my ears pierced. Most girls do so it really doesn't carry some huge meaning to me.

I suppose when I had them done that I felt all grown up. That lasted just a short time though. Once myself and most other girls my age had it done, it carried less significance to me.

I decided not worth it. I am not one that would do tattoos. I will admit that on some people they look good if they are done right.
