I doubt any girl would go out with a homeless musician or artist or a handyman with a criminal past or a self absorbed comedian or a foxy night club owner
I'd go out with a struggling musician or artist if their personalities were good to. Sometimes it shows they are determined to do what they love and won't give up. That's admirable.
Being a musician does not always mean a guy will have good character.

Fine. Go ahead an don't care what all of us say. If you have it in your mind that this is why women reject you and other guys then have it your way because none of us really care what the rejected guy thinks. His bitterness just tells us we made the right choice in rejecting him. If you're so right then how does it explain why girls date men with minimum wage paying jobs, or men who have practically no income like the starving artist? I married a guy like this and it was me who put my money out there so we could survive. Don't believe me? Don't care. The Take was written so that guys who think like you do might get the idea that there's more to attracting a woman than what you think because it's what you would like.

Look, an "8" to me is different than an "8" to another woman. I have dated men in the past that I found ridiculously sexy whereas my female friends have said, "I don't get it, what do you like about him?" It could have been anything from a nice chin and mouth combination to the fact he was an interesting person who held my attention and made me want more. Yeah, some of them were *ugly* by some women's standards but not to me. I doubt I'd even find you ugly. I find attractiveness in very strange places and the guys I was ever with in the past knew what one defining thing it was that made me crazy about them. Sometimes it was looks, but there had to be a bit more than that. I've dated drop-dead gorgeous guys too who bored me to death and I couldn't continue a relationship with them because I simply couldn't take it, but I could continue a relationship with a seemingly unattractive guy because there was a lot more going on with him. Women like me do exist out there.

Like I've said a few times here, that's not a character trait. It's a situation or opportunity to have money. Take that away and you have the raw characteristics of a person. So will he be boring or interesting? Interesting is what he makes of himself without money.

Right. "No girl". I married a guy who not only had no money, but in debt for thousands of dollars. I helped get him out of debt before we married. Please don't blanket all women with this sort of generalizing. That was the point of this whole Take.
I agree, I had the choice between the bratty rich boy and the sweet boy from a low income family. I'll be moving into a crappy apartment and attending university all on student loans with my boyfriend in September so you can guess who I chose :) No amount of money covers the stink of a rotten personality.

Right, so no matter what think what you like because we're just all wrong and we don't know what we're talking about. The women who do go for money are *not* interesting themselves and if a guy wants to attract an idiot like this, go ahead. It doesn't explain why guys who don't have money can still find dates and get in to relationships. Look at the poverty problem in first world countries. Men everywhere who can't rub two nickels together still manage to get in to relationships. I wonder why.
