Cause they are stupid (or just haven't learned yet). They may deny it, but deep down they know it. Most young guys (myself included) grow up seeing beautiful women on tv and our natural hormones kick in and we want a bombshell. Men are genetically wired to look for a healthy women to have babies with, that's why long healthy hair, nice breasts and waist to hip ratio are 'hot' to us.

Now, at his base this is what a man wants. But when (if) he matures, he wants a women who treats him good. Beauty IS only skin deep and being with a bitch DOES get old. Sometimes a 'nice' guy doesn't have the self esteem and wants a good looking girl so bad he will let them treat him like crap. Just like a girl who stays with an asshole who beats her, they lack the strength to stand up for themselves and drop that person.

Over half of marriages fail in America, I think most of it is because the majority of us who get married are still superficial. Men want the looks without necessarily (or overlooking) what is inside. Women want money, looks and social status , but sometimes overlook how a man is inside and use a man for money or the fact that he is powerful/successful. It is all so superficial and fleeting.

In my opinion, if you talk to successful truly happy couples, there is an attraction and financial stability, but also a deep spirituality. People don't have a solid relationship with God, and in the long run it affects not only the relationship but also how they relate and treat their kids. Morales, self love and spirituality (a real relationship with God) are necessary and important.

Look around, bitches and Jerks (If they stay that way) never have healthy, mutually happy relationships that last. Eventually, we all get old and ugly :) But at the end of the day how you treat each other and how you feel about each other is most important.

One of the reasons that men go for bitches is simply because they are used to casually dating them and then they make the mistake of getting too deep into it with one such bitch. Another reason is that too many men undervalue themselves and put p**** on the pedestal.

Thereby they view any half-decent looking girl with a sh*tty personality as a good catch and seriously date/marry her ass only to find out that her looks are gone by 30 and she never had much of a personality in the first place.

Read the book "Why Men Marry Bitches" by Sherry Argov. It actually contains some valid points and is a very funny read. It's different then the "bitch" that your talking about. It's more a woman that knows what she wants, takes a stand for what she believes, and won't let a man determine her entire exsistance.

Very insightful article, thanks. Most people overlooked the importance of spirituality in a relationship (you don't need to be a believer of any religion to be spiritual). What happens to couples without spirituality is, boredom, usually in a only a couple of years, because these people only have a mind (needing new things/people to keep it aroused) and a body (lust). The end results are all too familiar, cheating, triangular relationships, divorces, fights (abuse), quarrels,....etc.

It snot that we are "stupid". A lot of the times for me I never got to see the Bitch side. This woman come off as tom boyish, fun loving and caring about more than somethings and stand up for themselves. And that's the trap, they know what Guys like so they act like someone differant to that man and a total bitch to everyone else. They earn enough trust from us that we don't believe other people and brush them off. But its until she gets bored of us and seeks someone else that it shows.

I agree with a majority of your statements, except for the last part. You can have a spirituality with one another, regardless of your religious beliefs. Its how deeply involved you are with that person, and whether you understand them well enough.

The biggest problem I found in this is that you say spirituality is a "real relationship" with god. But not everyone believes in that and I'm sure that isn't a necessity in a relationship,especially to make it work.
