Hey, could you link to the historical papers or peer reviewed study that you got this information from? Or is this made up SJW bullshit being used to start a political circle jerk?
Doing anything for a woman these days is considered “a form of exploitation and manipulation”. Alcohol, attention, dates, lunch, hold-the-door, relationships,…. all have ulterior motives and should be avoided.
Pretty sure there are women that would actually seduce men just to get free drinks/meals.
Don't trust women that become friendly with you out of nowhere at the bar. She is most likely trying to get you to buy her free drinks for her and her group of friends.
This sounds like some pseudo womens' gender studies 101 logic. Men pay for everything when courting women. Explain the history of how it's sexist to buy women food next.
Proven fact. You'll most often finds sluts & women of lower inhibitions at bars, pubs & clubs anyway. It's not like one seriously goes to such places looking for life long partners. So buying a drink for such people is a given. Easy game.
On the other hand men who are seriously interested in a womanw ould readily buy a woman a coffee or a water. Booze, with the intent of lowering inhibitions and achieve easier sex, isn't part of the factor because they're interested in more than a fling.

No there's some consensus in what is considered attractive actually. Having a symmetrical face and body are among them.
I would say that people with european ancestry is the standard of attractiveness for majority of countries/ethnicities also. Facial features, fair skin, etc. Especially in Asia.
I have never bought a woman a drink that I wasn't already dating or married to. Even after the divorce, it was the exwife that bought me a drink.

Culturally it was also the guys who had all the money and women were little more than property, but times changed. The traditional reason for buying drinks for women could have changed.
