Pick me Girls are to an extent respected while simps get so much which is kinda hypocritical. In my experience crazy k-pop fans aka koreaboos are ultimate simps. I have seen how some teenagers spent their whole money on gifts which are given to random handsome korean guys or their idols. Nothing against k-pop but k-pop fans are another level. When i was a k-pop fan, i spent my whole time to watch their music videos to make them get views and to stalk thhem on twitter. The difference is that male simps are very real while "pick me girls" are largely a stupid concept manufactured by "red pillers" and other bitter males that some women may get behind as per their internalized misogyny brought out by the toxic value systems they grew up with which may drive them to tear each other down.

Pick me girls are living in their natural state. They dont resent being a supporter to men because... thats a general desire most women have. Simps on the other hand might accept their role but they resent it and build up anger.
