Giving my crush a ’bye-bye’ gift, yes or no?

Uselesshabit
My crush is going to study overseas for 3 years. He will leave by the end of this month. I have a plan to give him a farewell gift on the airport before he leaves. I know it’s something that usually happen in a drama haha (guess i am watching to much romance drama :)) ). The gift i am going to give away is just a propeller-keychain, a pretty simple gift. So i think it will not give him a problem from saving or using it (he loves aircraft, anyway).

Aaaaand here are the conditions,
1) He is 5 years older than me, a collage senior.
2) I am 5 years younger than him, considered as a cute-childish-baby-face collage girl.
3) He doesn’t have any idea about my feeling
4) There will be his whole family in the airport (yeah, sure -__-)
5) I am afraid i will freak him out if i ask him about his flight time
6) This is my last-chance to ’act’ as his collage junior. I will graduated this October (although i have a chance to go study in the same-overseas-collage he goes to)

what should i do? should i give him that gift?
and guys, how will you react if you were him?

p.s: sorry for my bad English :")

Soooo, two days ago, my senior from college (class 2008, me: class 2010) suddenly chatted me she said she likes Mr. N (THIS IS THE GUY I CROSH ON, OH MY GOD). She doesn’t have any idea about my feeling to him.

On the next day, we had a girl-day-out with all day long chit-chat about him. At the end of the day i decided to tell her averything (about my feeling to him and my plan). She said she’s okay with that but i don’t think so.
