Is it too late to text him?

So this really cute guy came into my work 2 nights ago and when he was checking out he asked for my number. I blushed and wrote it on his receipt. He texted me to about 5 minutes later saying to text him when I was out and I said okay. I got out of work at 1am and just wanted to go to bed so I refrained from texting him. I thought about texting him today but I had to work again so I didn't. Should I text him tomorrow? what should I say? have I waited too long?

Obviously you're not overly excited about texting him even though you thought he was really cute because it doesn't take long to text someone especially just to say "thanks for your text but I just got out of work and it's late and I'm really tired so will text you tomorrow". But all that is history now so if you really want to text him then of course do it and don't be worrying that it's too late. If you made an impression on him he'll be thrilled to get your text and will text you back. If he doesn't, well at least you texted him and that was the best you could do under the circumstances so forget it and move on. Maybe you'll see him again and he'll come up to you and talk again. At the point just take it from there. Right now everything is just fine and you have no worries. . No it's not to too long to text him back if you truly want to make further contact with him. Just tell him like I mentioned above or say whatever is on your mind but keep it short. So yes, text him tomorrow if you want to. It's never too late to contact someone you like. Good luck! . .

Thanks, but I did want to text him. I just thought he would ask me to hang out and I didn't wanna say no. thats also the reason I didn't text him today. lol I have work tomorrow too, but I'll prob still text him. Should I just say "hey" or should I go with something like "hey sorry I didn't text you earlier, I was working all weekend"

Aww well I knew you wanted to text him or else you'd never came on here and asked the question. You should say more than "hey" so why not say how you feel. You can definitely say something like "hey sorry I didn't text you earlier" like you suggested. When you meet a guy you like, do whatever you have to do to not lose him. That means taking the best action you can think of. Good luck again!
