Is co-ed wrestling always flirting or do guys wrestle with girls they just consider to be friends?

My guy friend and I are very stubborn and fight each other for dominance all the time. At times, we'll wrestle over stuff, like pens or whatever, and it gets really intense, physical and competitive. He also likes to talk smack to me a lot so I kick him under the table we sit at in class. Then he'll take my leg in between both of his and just hold it till I give in. Is this just goofing around or is he flirting in some weird way? We both have lots of other opp sex friends and we only do this with each other.

I've done both :). I’ve had a few girl friends I’ve wrestled (some of my toughest matches actually) I was never romantic with, but I’ve also used it as a way to get close and start something up. Haha, I’m sure that doesn’t help but, eh, it’s all about the behavior after the matchup :)

I actually told him to kiss me. He has a gf and said he would kiss as friends but he doesn't want to cheat. This was three months ago and he's still wrestling with me, messing in my hair, trapping my leg between his, etc. why?

Kinda what I think, since I have a bf whom he knows and respects. I wish he'd just admit that, though, if that's what he feels. I know, at least on my end, a lot of the rage/hatred I tell him I have for him is just repressed lust. Maybe he feels that to some degree too? I'd totally prefer to be sweet and loving toward him but maybe he's afraid that would go somewhere. He's said things to me before like we couldn't just kiss once because it wouldn't be enough and we'd want more, etc.

Sadly yes and I know it's never gonna happen. But just today he asked me to look at a stain on his fly (?) and then when we were putting computers away I said the cords wind around like on a vacuum cleaner. He said he didn't know that I knew anything about housework. I grabbed a thick electrical cord and told him to shut the room door and I'd show him what I know! He knew what I meant. We joke about bdsm a lot.

It's a shame he isn't willing to leave his girlfriend (or do you think he might?) because I think that it's almost inevitable that you two will hook up. You don't put that much sexual tension into one room for a long time and not expect something to happen. But I can understand why you wouldn't want to be the one to bring that up. Sadly, I don't know what you should do. If you ask him to leave his girlfriend and he says no then it could cause problems, but on the other hand if things stay the way they are something will happen or nothing will happen, I don't know which would be worse. I guess what you do is up to you, I just wish you the best of luck.

Thanks! He says he doesn't want to hurt her by dumping her and we're going to colleges far away next year, so who knows? He's said he's breaking up with her after graduation so he can be free this summer, so maybe or maybe not. If not, I'll just keep flirting with him because I get a kick out of it. I agree that there is a ridiculous amount of tension there. Last time when it got too tense was when I told him to kiss me. It seemed that was what we both wanted. Maybe still is.
