Is offering to share food with someone a sign of interest?

Is it flirting if a guy offers to share some of his food with you? Not feed you but like looks over at you when there are a bunch of people at the table and asks if you want to try his chicken? Is this a flirting tactic? I met this guy recently for the first time and wasn't sure if it meant something or not.

It's generally just courteous with someone sitting around others while eating but in your case he probably likes you.

Maybe he's just generous, and likes to share, keep chatting with him and he may turn out to be a keeper.

Some people are just "food sharers". Just how they interact during dinner. Doesn't in and of itself mean interest.
