To be honest if this happens to a guy a lot he will never know. A lot of people like me as a person and I draw in tons of female friends. They all joke and tease me and are super friendly. My guy friends will sometimes think think they are flirting but majority of them have boyfriends or have made it very clear they like me as a friend. If it's someone who is like by most people he won't be able to tell. In my situation I'd never know, so if you like the guy ask home and tell him.
I kinda like the sassy girls but I think it's harder for the average dude to like/talk to them lol. I've become more and more fond of the sassy girls because they actually understand sarcasm and irony and what have you. As I said it's probably harder to get a connection because the sarcasm kinda builds a wall that the guy has to climb by responding back with a joke to the comments the girls give.

Teasing can work, if it's made obvious (for example by playfully hitting his arm), and she only does it with the one guy.
I like teasing, but it is not a sure sign she likes you and him teasing back it not 100% that he likes you back.
It's all good fun, but it does get old after a while. I would like to see a soft, serious side too.
It's all in the eyes. Men and women can easily detect interest by looking the other in the eyes. If a guy talks to you, but constantly looks around, he's just trying to get laid, period.
I think it's not very effective. Reason being is my female friends do this to me and I know for a fact there's no interest from her.
