I know this guy and I caught him staring. Then I looked away and then back at him and he was staring. He had a little bit of a closed mouth smile on his face and he was looking all innocent. I look away again to see if anyone else around me notices that he is staring. No one else notices. I look back at him... he is staring. At this point I'm confused... but stare a little longer. He looks from one eye to my other eye, glances at my lips, and then stares back into my eyes. He had the same smile on his face the whole time. I look to my right to see if anyone is standing over there... nope. I knew there was no one behind me because there was a wall behind me. I look back at him and he is still staring. He did not look away. I don't have a lot of experience. What was he thinking? Why did he glance at my lips? I wasn't talking or anything. Was he thinking I look weird? Was he flirting?

Try talking/eye contacting some more. If he is anything at all like I am around girls I'm attracted to, he might just look straight into your eyes (if he's confident), without any noticeable facial expression per say. It's all in the eyes! Or if you are chatting, especially when one on one, see if you two seem to 'gravitate' towards each other, getting real close without actually realising either of you two are doing it etc... Moreover, trust your gut, just chat n' flirt with him if you like him!

You don't know exactly where on your face he was looking, you're just guessing based on your perception. And if he doesn't talk to you or approach you then what does it matter if he looks at you. If you want to know then ask him.

Not the first time he stared at me. Once when we did a duet... he said we could use the microphones on opposite sides of the church and gaze into each other's eyes. He looked uneasy when he said it. I didn't know if he was serious or not. He compliments my singing every time I do a solo. He has complimented my clothes. Then again I thought he might just being nice by doing that.
