Is it okay to kiss/make out with your best friend?

My guy best friend and I were talking about how I've never been kissed, and he offered to be my first... and I was like, sure why not... We haven't kissed yet, because he wants to surprise me when it happens. But, he wants to see if I want to continue kissing after the first one. He also says he's down for making out, since we are both single. I'm totally fine with kissing & making out, but if either of us gets into a relationship (not with each other) we stop. I'm just curious... is kissing/making out normal for guy/girl best friends? Anybody out there do it with their BFF?

He has admitted feelings for me, but never acted on it. He's said he gets erect when he sees me (eww, I know) but that's it. He also asked another girl to prom. I think he just wants me for my body.

I know he works, but I always try to go around his schedule. He just says "I have homework" "I can't. Sorry, I'm going to the gym" Things like that... he always says he's to busy to date and that he's not ready for a relationship because of past girlfriends. When he does want to get together, he wants to get together like, RIGHT NOW. Sometimes, I'm babysitting or in my drama class. But if he gave me enough time to prepare, I can miss drama or tell my cousin I can't watch the kids. But no... am I doing something wrong? I'd love to go out with him, but not if he is going to be a jerk about it.

i agree. if i were you I'd let him know that there's a chance but not like this. now if he wants this then he's gotta work for it and take the time out or m gonna have to move on. loud and clear.
