Do guys normally feed girls food?

I know it's normal if we are friends. But i do not really know this korean guy. (it happens during my trip there) we were sitting as a group and this guy out of a sudden he fed me food and ate the remaining sauce that is left on the chopsticks. he actually fed me a number of times.
also we took photo together (just the two of us), he actually hugs me close. so close that my head were stick to his chest and there wasn't any gap between us.
i'm just curious and wondering does all korean guys act this way or generally all guys?
