Should I tell my crush I appreciate her?

Question

I want to tell my crush I really appreciate her. When I met her, I was kind of depressed and I want to tell her that I really appreciate talking with her because her company got me out of personnal problems.

Do you think she will think I'm an unstable guy or would she be touched by this? I don't plan on detailing the part about personnal problems, I just want to tell her how her company was comforting.

yeah you should... But first, be prepared to prove it. I myself whas in a similar situation with a girl I like the only difference being that she was depressed. I stuck trough it and for 3 months she was my world. She still only liked me as a friend which kinda sucked but hey can't have everything right? So she told me that she appreciated me and loved me "as a person" and that did make me happy, the problem was that she did not prove this statement. She continued on as usual but did not show her appreciation. That made her previous talk about me being great pretty useless and downgraded her status in my eyes. In conclusion, tell her that but be prepared to prove it.

Sure. It is a nice thing to say, even if you both stay as good friends.
Don't overthink your feelings in order to fullfil your romantic goals. Why do you care about being unstable or that kind of things? Everyone's got problems time to time, that doesn't make you soft.
I'm sure she will appreciate your words no matter if she likes you or not.

Maybe you can tell her this another time when you see each other again face to face, sure personal stuff is supposed to remain personal until you and that person become closer.
I don't think she will think you're unstable, NO, if a guy would tell me that I would feel flattered and I love guys who actually express their feelings and tell me how they felt, it's priceless, unstable has nothing to do with being depressed or sad.
Try to get closer to her, and tell her that you actually enjoy her company a lot and that it makes you forget things that are going on in your life.

I feel you completely. That's like me and this guy in high school. I hope you don't get disappointed because she was most probably there because she just enjoyed your company too, and your confession might mean nothing to her, she will not think you are unstable, but maybe she won't be able to see that it was so important for you. I think you need to tell her because that's the way you feel, but don't expect any reaction from her.

For me, it would feel like a major compliment and would make me feel good about myself. I think its a sign of closeness and most of us dont look at men unstable unless their certified crazy, but we see it as being brave because we know how hard it is for men to express their feelings. I say do it!

I think if you bring it up in a subtle way then it'll work out well for you but if you just blurt it out randomly before saying anything else then yeah that's a bit unexpected. Try and bring it up into a conversation that's already going that way or try to turn it that way so that it doesn't seem like what you're saying came out of nowhere.

Wait, this isn't a given for people to do? When I first got involved with my crush, one of the first times we went out I told her I appreciate her and care about her very much. I would think not doing this makes no sense, if you are in a relationship your not supposed to hide your feelings and it's ok to be mushy and romantic not have an iron heart, lol. 🙂
