I like to flirt with 16-17 year old girls. My question is are they too young for me or its normal to date with such age difference?

As a 16 year old girl, I DAYDREAM about instances like this. Personally, I am attracted to men in their 20's because many kids at my school are immature. However, my attraction to this age group has sparked self-doubt and even insecurity within myself because I had to accept no one that I truly liked would want to date me. I take tennis lessons at the local university, and constantly talk to (and attempt to flirt with) the guys on the team. But, they shrug me off as a "little girl." Although this is seen by society as the correct thing to do (in the eyes of the law), if you really like someone, go for it. My confidence would be constantly crushed when I would be seen as the "little sister" of the team, and not as an equal. It stung to accept that I would likely never find a 20+ year old guy who would be open to a relationship with me. I wish more people like you existed in the world. Continue flirting, see if she flirts back. Take it slow, because some girls may view you as creepy-- just make sure you two are on the same page, and it will work out itself. Best of luck!

Personally I don't think there's anything wrong with it, but there are things I think you should watch out for. Try not to make her feel used, don't rush into sex (especially if she's a virgin), and make sure she knows that you like her and that you're not dating her because of something superficial. like sex, or just for bragging, or whatever. if I were 16 again, I'd be kinda wary of someone of your age just because I don't know if he only wants to use me. just treat her well and I think it's fine.

I just wondered if 16 is OK age or too young :). There were also a couple of girls I liked and they liked me too but I didn't go after them because of their ages. I thought it will look queer.

Haha! Yeah, I went on a blind date with a girl years ago, I was 23 and she and her mom BOTH said she was 19, but she looked 15. She wanted to get frisky and I wasn't much of a "first date kinda guy" anyway, but we got as far as her pulling me out and I just could not do it. I think its fine...Many 16 and 17 years old these days are dating older guys. Mostly because they are tired of the immature 16/17 year old boys. These girls look for someone to actually talk to and learn from and since a 20 year old is only 3 or 4 years older they can learn from 16/17 year olds as well. Besides wanting to date someone 3-4 years younger than you is actually the Average date range. When you want to date someone 20 years younger than you then people should get worried.

Yes, I'm 17. Me? I probably would because I've had no luck with guys my age. Twenty year old still have a kid in them but are more mature than 16/17 year olds

Typically people date at their same maturity level... or try to. As a guy I don't think this idea is cool at all, however, I remember when I was 16 there were girls dating men out of high school an in 20s. All these girls came from dysfunctional families and messed up lives.. It was more of the way a girl could get beer and cigarettes. (by the way these girls love to brag about these guys- as if its cool)

I think I would be more concerned what the girls father would do if he found out. If it was my daughter you tried to date at your age, I would change your gender and probably beat you mercilessly.

Girls I dated were always 1 year younger, same or older by 1 year. I dated "slutty" girls or I am a "slut". At age 19-20 many of the girls care how much money you make and what car you drive unlike 16-17 year olds. Its just my opinion. I also want to find a girl who is not that "slutty".

If I'm not wrong children 12-16 can have sex with each other as long as they don't have more than 2 years age difference (I think its 2 but might be 1) and 16-18 can have sex with anyone who is not older than 4 or 5 years than they are. I understand that its a "jailbait" for older guys to date younger girls but I think 20 and 16 should be OK :)
