What does it mean if a girl looks at you everytime you enter the room?

What's up guys?

So just to clarify, my crush's assigned seat is in front of mine. We didn't text each other during the holiday and we didn't see each other at all. Today, when I entered the class room (before the class started), she was on her smart phone. She kept looking at me then after some seconds, she smiled with her teeth (then I said "Hi!").

So basically, it means that I got her attention. I mean, she stopped looking at her phone to look at me...

Some weeks ago, during the class, the teacher allowed me to go the bathroom. When I cameback in the classroom, she looked at me (even though she was supposed to be working on her written production). When I came closer, I think she looked away and smiled with her teeth (as far as I remember, but maybe I'm wrong). And at least a week ago (while we were continuing our writting production), I asked a question to my teacher. When I was walking back to my seat, I saw her looking at me. But she didn't smile or say anything. She looked at me continually.

But later (when me, my crush, a mutual friend and another girl were talking together), she mentionned that she has a boyfriend. She was not saying it directly to me, but in November, when we had our first true conversation, she mentionned something about her boyfriend. But y'know, today was the second time I heard her saying anything about him.

I'm very confused. I really don't know what to think anymore. But I will still ask her to prom (later this year).

What do you think about this?

Bro. She is into you. It takes a lot of guts for some of us girls to make a move so all we do is try to get the guy's attention by doing little things like smiling, staring (not in a creepy way, don't get those two mixed up), and saying small things like "hi". I think she would try to talk to you more though the fact that she smiles to herself whenever you walk in is a sign she is a little shy. I think she would really appreciate it if you initiated some kind of conversation with her. You've got nothing to lose by doing so! :) Also, the whole mentioning her boyfriend thing may just be her attempt at making you jealous. Talk to her and see how/where it goes. You've got this! But I was the one who said « hi! » when she smiled at me! Also, she has initiated multiple conversations in the class (or attempted to). For example, one day, before the class started, she turned her body in a way that I could see her face and it kinda seemed like she wanted me to say something (or to initiate the conversation). And the thing is, one of her friends is in our class. But instead of talking with her, she decided to talk to me.

And sometimes, she checks out what I’m doing (before the class starts). Then, she most of the time starts talking to me (or me and the girl sitting beside me, depending on if she’s at school or not). But there are times when she just doesn’t talk to me/us at all (before the class starts). But it’s more rare.
