What does this guy mean when he says his old girlfriend looks “dainty” compared to me?

Met this guy online and we talked for a bit, i told him im into lifting and he said his old girlfriend was too, then we traded some pics. he asked for gym pics and i sent him these.. he said “holy shit!!! my ex used to workout too but she looks dainty next to you. damn!” then he showed me a pic of her.. he didn't really say whether he liked my body or not.. was it supposed to be a compliment, like do you think he meant it in a positive way?
