What are your thoughts on kissing someone on the hand?

So today in class, we were discussing the book we were all reading and the recent chapter. In it, there is a part when the male character kisses the female character on the hand as a romantic gesture. Then briefly we started discussing as a class, things that would be considered romantic for a man to do to a woman. It seemed that most of the girls in my class were turned off by getting kissed on the hand. Obviously it's more of an old fashioned gesture than modern one, but I still wouldn't mind it if my girlfriend and I wanted to start doing it. What are your guys' thoughts on hand kissing?

My boyfriend does this quite a lot.. Before I had I before whom I love, I thought it was boring.. I thought there was nothing to it.. I love it now because to me, it just says that my boyfriend adores me.. I feel adored.. In addition to that, it's nice to have my boyfriend treat me different from every other guy has treated me and treat me different from the way every girl around me is being treated by their boyfriends.. It nice to have something different about your relationship. .

I adore hand kisses. It makes my heart flutter when my boyfriend kisses my hand while he's driving (I tend to hold his hand or put my hand on his knee while he drives), or when we're holding hands watching a movie and he gives my hand a small kiss. Or when I have my hand on his chest while we're cuddling and he lifts it for a quick kiss before putting it back. I think it's super sweet and it makes me feel loved

That’s one thing I actually like about the past. I hate the opening of car doors and stuff like that, but a kiss on the hand is really nice.

A great way to end a first date. Not to forward but sweet enough that she won't be mad if she was looking for a kiss or did not want any kisses.

I do it often. Especially if we are having a very deep conversation. I will caress her hand and occasionally kiss it through the convo.

I do it with my fiance all the time Nd she likes it. Though I leave out the flourishes and decorum that you usually see in the "ye old days" type of stuff. It's usually when we are laying down and holding hands already.

Hands are nasty. I wouldn't want to kiss it. Imagine all the germs from touching things. People wipe their ass using the hand. People touch themselves sexually. Dig in their nose. Sneeze. Some people don't even wash their hands.
