Can anyone relate or am I alone here? Lol
Do you get distracted when you see an attractive person?
Can anyone relate or am I alone here? Lol
Sometimes, but she has to have something stunning about her first. Even an attractive woman, I might not be distracted enough to cause an accident or anything.
Itās a select few that will just strike me so dumb that I canāt talk or anything. I can think of maybe two women who have done that (though thereās probably been a few more that I canāt recall), but I do get distracted enough to make an idiot of myself.
That part is pretty common - yes, I constantly put my foot in my mouth, but I usually donāt get distracted to a point of being dangerous... just enough to sound like an idiot.
I can usually pay enough attention to what I need to. But there have been a few women who have made me stop and stare.
It happens more frequently with guys. Thanks to the tight , short skimpy clothes that girls wear.
Modesty is necessary for women. But burkas, hijabs and viels covering faces is tooo much. Dont cover yourselves like a chocolate or candies.
Women's clothes are significant and although nature loves symmetry, nature is not perfectly symmetrical.
So dont make the mistake of comparing men's clothes with women's clothes.
Yes it is a normal behaviour.
For women, it happens some times.
For men, it happens everytime. Even though you're not wearing revealing clothes, men will still feel attracted. But when you dress conservatively, men can avoid getting distracted.
Iāll be truthful and say distracted for a bit, but happily not for long.. if i have someone already that iām more than into and working together with, the other guys would pretty much not really capture too much of my attention because i choose to limit my time with other guys. I will respect them of course, but i wonāt flirt nor be too close.. thatās kind of where i draw the line. I likely also think they may have a more easier time maybe finding someone in their future so good for them. ^-^ hopefully it wonāt just be based on looks alone though..
Is it attraction or what?
@WhistleThuslyTWEETs Iād call it attraction to an extent because i may admire how they carry themselves or so, but not enough to put me in a daze.
there was this super attractive guy i worked with over the summer who distracted me a lot lol but i think it was bc i was bored at my summer job and he gave me something to look at
even better he started dropping hints he liked me!
Is it attraction or what?
@Hariss @smg99 @WhistleThustlyTWEETs there was a couple things. i caught him staring at me a couple times and then he quickly looked away. i always see him glance in my direction whenever i walk past him. (i met him at our summer job at a pool) so once when i was talking to another lifeguard (guy) his head snapped up and he started paying attention to our conversation.. just some teasing too. and the other day i was passing a classroom he was coming out of, and he did a complete 180 and went back inside when he saw me lol
well you tell me, is it attraction? i like him, but he isn't doing anything so I don't know if he really does like me
Omg Iām in this exact predicament as you state verbatim. They act so strange and I had to watch you tube to understand his strange behavior means he is rationalizing his attraction to you or us collectively in our situations.
Then he does that to get your attention so that it makes you want to ask him why. I went all out on a limb as I was reminded of a rather lustful meaning to an ordinary joke. So when I went joking on the far end of that spectrum, I was given a serious look, but I read later he was not offended, so he wanted to be my dessert lol.

Yeah, it's pretty much unavoidable, especially when the weather is warm.
No I don't. Mainly because I think it's wrong to judge somebody based on what they look like. I don't feel emotionally different around good looking people. My response to them is the same regardless of looks.
Different post, different comment. Liar detected.
Yes, especially when they give you a lot of eye contact. I canāt hear a word theyāre saying.
So, when you you see attractive guys you don't experience physical attraction?
Yes, I do.
What does physical attraction feel like?
Butterflies in my stomach, a little bit of mental weakness (incoherent sentences) which irritate me, and occasionally arousal.
Is it physical attraction or sexual attraction? Confused
Sorry to confuse... Iām trying to consider the difference in the two but itās difficult. I donāt desire to have sex with each person I am attracted to though.
Does that clarify a little?
No, still confusing.
( I donāt desire to have sex with each person I am attracted to though) Then what does "attracted" mean to you?
Why donāt you desire to have sex "him/them" when you are "attracted" to them?
When "attract" means "desire or the quality of arousing sexual interest (for sexual people), aesthetic interest (asexual) people.
Isn't it confusing?
Physical attraction may just mean that they are āaesthetically interestingā but not necessarily that I want to sleep with them.
I will acknowledge the possibility that a sexual desire is present as well but that I stifle that feeling.
Physical= they are good looking/intellectually appealing in a way that I wish to learn more
Sexual= the above is true but also desire to have sex with them
Wiki says,
An aesthetic attraction is an attraction to another person's appearance, not necessarily sexually or romantically. Many asexuals say to experience this. It is called aesthetic attraction because it is thought to be similar to other aesthetic desires, such as the desire to keep listening to a good song or to keep looking at a beautiful sunset.
So, physical attraction is a synonym of aesthetic attraction?
So, when do you look at your relatives, your mother even your same gender you can feel physical attraction (āaesthetically interestingā but not necessarily that I want to sleep with them)?
I would agree with that, yes.
Wiki clarified better than I did. I think my brain is done for the day...
Thanks and glad to know you are physically attracted to your mother and pretty animals. Now I can say my friends that women are physically attracted to their mother and animals. Thank you very much.
Wow, I didnāt mean that at all.
So aesthetic is different than physical attraction? Is that what youāre saying?
Iām missing something?
Letās go back to the beginning...
I said yes to the original posterās question. Then you asked me if I do t feel physical attraction to attractive guys. The answer to that is yes, I do.
I asked
What does physical attraction feel like?
Your answer - Butterflies in my stomach, a little bit of mental weakness (incoherent sentences) which irritate me, and occasionally arousal.
Then you said, you donāt desire to have sex with each person you're attracted to (contradiction)
Again you said Physical attraction means "aesthetically interestingā but not necessarily that I want to sleep with them. So, you can find your parents attractive, animals attractive even nice painting attractive? It means you are physically attracted to your mother, animals and paintings, right?
Because according to you physical attraction is a synonym of aesthetic attraction. (Absence of sexual sense)
No, I asked you aesthetic is different than physical attraction.
āWiki says,
An aesthetic attraction is an attraction to another person's appearance, not necessarily sexually or romantically. Many asexuals say to experience this. It is called aesthetic attraction because it is thought to be similar to other aesthetic desires, such as the desire to keep listening to a good song or to keep looking at a beautiful sunset.ā
That is the only part of your message that I saw when I said I agreed with wiki.
So maybe Iām using the wrong words? Instead of calling it a physical attraction, I should be calling it an aesthetic attraction.
Then you have said
"Physical attraction may just mean that they are āaesthetically interestingā but not necessarily that I want to sleep with them."
Same thing, if physical attraction means absence of sexual impulse then you can be physically attracted to you mother and pretty animals because physical attraction means "absence of sex drive"?
āMayā just mean that. Situationally.
I didn't get your last replay. What's it
I replied:
āMayā just mean that. Situationally.
Then when do you see attractive guys do you feel physical attraction or sexual attraction?
The physiological response my body gives would imply that itās more of a sexual attraction.
Then why did you say this
(I donāt desire to have sex with each person I am attracted to though)
What does it mean actually?
I suppose that inherently, my bodily responses mean that I do desire to have sex with that person.
I think for me, that desire is followed by a psychological response of rejecting that.
(I donāt desire to have sex with each person I am attracted to though)
This is a delusional comment and I can't get it's meaningą„¤
You are referring "attracted" in the same time you are telling you don't have desire to have sex.
Isn't it contradict?
My body may feel the responses of desire but desire to be pleasured, which I can do myself. I donāt want to have sex with everyone Iām attracted to.
You may not act on your desire, but does it mean lack of sexual attraction?
That's why I get confused. Thanks for you replay.
I understand what youāre saying. Youāre correct, it does not mean a lack of sexual attraction.
Just for me personally, I stifle that so quickly that I have forgotten what it feels like to listen to those cues.
Thank you for the conversation.
Nope but I will appreciate the beauty lol
How this appreciation is any more different than appreciating nice painting, nice cat or pretty animals?
Yes! One day, I was in college going from one building to another and saw a good-looking girl across the street going the other way. I stopped to look at her and the next thing I know, a car is coming out of a parking lot on my left and running right over both of my feet!!!
Yes but only for a few seconds. I thought this was a āguy thingā, I didnāt actually think women experienced the same.
Lol yes, many of us do experience this.
I find that odd because itās been said that women are not as visual as men are when it comes to attraction.
I once saw this hot babe with huge tits while I was driving and as I was staring I ran over a fire hydrant which spewed water through my vehicle. She looked at me. I told her she got me wet in the pants and she laughed. We're now dating.
Oh, wait. That was just a dream 😆😩😭
Nah. I mean, I can recognize that a girl is hot, but it doesnāt completely take up my focus. There are plenty of beautiful women out there, too many for a guy to get distracted just by seeing a hot girl. And if she is that hot, shoot your shot. Same goes for girls. If you see a guy youāre that into and youāre single, why not?
Haha. I remember ordering "Haat Gorlic sauce" once because I was distracted instead of Hot Garlic.
omg šThat's funny. Lol
I was with a friend and how does he help? "Have a sip of your worrturr before you order" at least we got a good laugh out of it.
haha! yeah, I was super embarrassed earlier but now it's just funny. Lol
The server had a sense of humour so it was all good. Also I messed saying Pomegranate once. Not because the waitress was attractive or anything. I tried repeating it 2-3 times but it just kept getting worse. So I pretended I'd had a wisdom tooth extraction earlier in the day and wrote my order down. Not my finest moment.
I get distracted as well, mostly by attractive women but also the food, I mean goddamn the lasagne is this restaurant was delicious, delicious food just tickles my balls. The women yeah, they can distract me but in a snap of a finger, I can compose myself and not embarrass myself.
No, in the past when I saw an attractive guy I just thought to myself "oh he's very cute" and just went on about my day. But i didn't get distracted or anything.
When do you see attractive guys you don't feel any physical attraction?
@WhistleThuslyTWEETs If i think a guy is cute then that is a form of attraction.
I have heard, finding something hot, sexy is not same as being attracted to them. That's why I asked.
If you think a guy is cute. His personality, behavior or looks? Does it happen visually or happen after spending long time with him?
Depends on how attractive. I went to a concert a while ago and the usher was hot as hell. I kept looking back at him the entire show haha
Is it attraction or what?
Yea I can relate to that big time... one day i was washing clothes and I seen this beautiful there and got stuck and put to much soap in the machine and it overflows
I am somewhat similar. When I was in my mid twenties I would tell them some cheesy pickup line to make them laugh. That seemed to take the edge off of that awe-struck feeling so I could think straight again.
yup. I go from "whatever I was doing" to "must... need..."
Lmfao yes
I cannot get out a coherent sentence when I'm talking to someone I find attractive hahaha
Happened once. I was eating at some Mc Donald's, and there enter a woman so insanely beautiful, I swear i couldn't take my eyes off her for 5 minutes, until she looks in my direction and I suddenly feel stupid enough to come back to my sense
Sometimes it feels as if the world stops moving. I mean for real, time stops ticking. Noise cancels. I even stopped breathing once, didn't even realize till I was gasping for air, lol.
For those that know and believe, this is a magical moment and lives could be forever changed ESPECIALLY if you don't take that chance.
There's a mess of power in attraction, but likewise, there's a ton of destruction. Gotta be careful out there, ya kno?
That's literally the only thing that ever happens to me every time I leave my house. I find it annoying tbh
If you have entered my mind the moment that I see attractive girl..
You will find some real shit about her as a naughty journey of playing at maximum levels as actions..
But the second I contact her all this shit replaced by some over politeness and quiteness..
I am working in expressing it or at least mixing it in a gradual attitude APAIC..
