Is it bad I never text him first?

I realized that I never text anyone first, like ever. The only people I would text first would be my family because idc if I'm bugging them. But I never text any of my friends first, even my really good friends. If they don't text me first, then I won't start a conversation and it could go on forever until they finally start the conversation.

Is it a bad thing that I never text the guy I like first? Will he think I'm not interested? Because he knows I like him, but will he think I don't like him as much if I never text him first? I just get nervous that he'll be busy or something, I don't know why it's weird. Should I start conversations with him, or let him keep texting me first so I don't look desperate or something? I know, I tend to over think things, but it's how I am..

He's texting you without thinking if you're busy or not obviously, you need to remember that. Its not a bad thing but its not a good thing either. It might make him feel like you're not interested in him or like he's just another guy to you. I think you should just swallow your pride and start to get into the habit of texting him first. Overcome your fears because if things work out because of it then it will be so worth it. If he's busy then he doesn't have to text you but I doubt he's busy 24/7. If he likes you then he won't care about anything other than the fact that you texted him which I'm sure will make him feel good and wanted.

I would text him; it gets tiring being the only one initiating conversations.He may end up thinking he's the one bothering you lol, or that he's the one who looks desperate. Obviously none of that is true, but he may end up feeling that way and it could lead him to stop texting you too often. Just send him a messsage when you feel like talking, don't over-think things :) He doesn't have to answer right away anyway, just at some point. So, don't worry about him being busy. However, try to refrain from texting him when you think he's most likely sleeping

I'm currently being a boy with a girl like that and it seems that she's not interested and I almost gave up already with it because of it, go text him .. who cares if he's busy or something.

You'll just laugh at yourself later if you happen to say something silly which you thought to sound good while you're saying it xD

If people text you first I wouldn't worry about it. Otherwise you should text people. I'm the same as you for the most part, except I text people when I have questions/need something.
