If I do a background check on my boyfriend, can he find out it was me that did the back ground check on him?

I smell something fishy with my boyfriend. Something is off. His stories aren't adding up. My family members would tell me his stories weren't adding up but I didn't want to believe them. Until I caught him in a lie but he didn't even notice that he told me the truth. I tried making up a story to get the truth out of him but it didn't seem to work. For a peace of mind I would like to do a background check on him. Can he find out I did a background check on him?

If your family members tell you something is up LISTEN. I learned this out the hard way and I didn't want to believe them. My ex's storied either were too exactly the same with the wording or he would slip and say something then say another. And then when I would catch him he would ramble onto something else until I forgot about his slip up. If you knew where he lived before you can go to the county website clerk of courts and type in his name and see if he has a record. It's free and public so anyone can look up records. He won't know that you looked. Most of the background checks that you have to pay for are scams, so don't try those.

But honestly if everyone around you thinks something is up. They are probably right even if you can't believe it, because he's your boyfriend. And don't lie to catch him lying, that's not good.

Well a private eye usually does that but I think it cost a lot of money. Wouldn't it be cheaper just to get rid of him? I guess you can do it on the cheap and follow him around yourself. But that might take a little time.

It depends on who you get to perform the background check.

Is a relationship really the best thing if you feel the need to run a background check? For me that would be a giant red flag that I should walk away right now.

I guess you could blow a local cop in exchange for a "freebe" investigation or You may qualify for funding to finance an investigation under the Tiger Woods Clause of the 1996 Trailer Trash Act. Why don't you just dump the fu(ker instead of paying out the ass for a Private I. Actually with his dishonesty and your stupidity you may in fact be a perfect match. Perhaps that fishy smell is permeating from below.

If you feel the need to do a back ground check on him, that is a huge indicator there is a problem!
