What should I do?
He flirts too much on text, what do I do?
What should I do?
From a guys perspective I can give you a little bit of insight into why he is possibly doing this.
Perhaps this guy has had relationship problems in the past, or may just be a tad bit full on to a girl he sexually and romantically likes. This isn't necessarily a problem, but as you said before it bothers you.
Guy's can have quite strange minds if it comes down to past relationship experiences with a girl, especially bad experiences.
Maybe he is being over sexual now to make up for suppressed sexuality, bullying and lack of any kind of attention from the opposite sex when he was younger? Our past experiences can define us mentally if you let them, especially if negative brands and stereotypes are constantly applied to individuals from a young age.
I'm not saying this is the case, but it possibly could be?
Or he could just be a tad bit obsessive and wants you to know that he likes you like that, in case you get bored or he loses you. Some guys are just like this.
However, as another user has said, it might be that he's just interested in you for sex. I'd like to think not, but just be vigilant. Keep all possibilities in your mind.
My advice to you would be to tell him that you appreciate his flirting and it is reciprocated, but it's a bit full on.
Then if he carries on, assess and contemplate if you fit well together.
Communication is key for any kind of future relationship.
Good luck and I wish you all the best anonymous woman!
You should be clear about your feelings and upfront about your expectations. There's a chance he's bad at reading the room. There's also a chance that he's only interested in that one thing only & he wasn't being himself when you first connected. If you don't say anything he's going to keep the behavior up and you'll lose all interest for good. If you keep it real he might do the same and you might find out why he's so thirsty. Worst case scenario he pretends to be interested in balanced relationship to get laid. I get the impression he's not very subtle so there probably won't be much to read into. Assuming that you're not sending nudes or sexting, aggressively flirting doesn't serve a purpose. He might just be needy. Maybe he's not used to girls giving him attention let alone flirting back and he's doing it because knowing you're instrested is a first and he can't get hear it enough. It's hard to say for sure without more details about what kind things he's writing. You'll know what to do once you say what's on your mind and get him to do the same
Tell him exactly what you just told us: that while you don't mind a little flirting, you rather him not flirt -all- the time. Ask him to tone it down a bit- if he's genuinely interested in you, he should be able to do that for you. He doesn't have to completely stop (make sure to emphasize that!)
Just tell him, "Hey, I like you and how flirty you are, but I'd like to get to know you a bit more outside of just flirting. Can you tone it down a bit?"
To me, if he's that flirty, I wouldn't take him seriously, or think he's only interested in sex with you- which is a red flag.
I've been pretty dry cuz I'm starting to struggle to text him...
He's flirty bc he's joking but it's too much.
I like having funny conversation but it's just flirt flirt flirt. I might just tell him what you said. Thank you
Stop texting with him for now. Tell him you’re too busy to text for a while and you’ll talk to him in person.

Stop replying for a few days, he will be a bit confused and I feel like maybe when you go back to talking to him he might talk about something else than just flirt with you, it might be on where you were for those few days but it's not flirting right? 🤷🏽
Yea that stuff irks me too. I’ll kindly ask the guy to tone it down but if he keeps going, i’ll either snap and leave or politely ghost
he likes you, sit down and talk to him
