There is this guy in my office and I have a crush on him. Sometimes when we talk to each other my gut instinct tells me that he feels the same. He always initiates the conversation, have caught him stealing glances, he calls me by a different name and i do the same (its more of a personal joke between us). I still remember when i had a panic attack a few weeks ago, he told me that "I'm there for you". Those words were genuine.

I don't know I could just feel the shine in his eyes when we're together. But he hasn't asked me for my number yet, also a few days ago he told me to text him, he knew that i dont have his number, so i texted him on slack as usual, but i didn't get any reply from him. It was a cute text, now i feel embarrased as to why i even texted in the first place. That too on Slack. :")

Did you introduce yourself to him on that slack? Since he doesn't have your number, he wouldn't know whose number that message belongs to and would ignore it.

Otherwise if you did introduce yourself and you haven't gotten any replies from him for days, you can try telling him in-person that you have texted him (since HE was the one who told you to text him)

Guys aren't too good at texting in my experience. The physical side of things are always better when your around someone you like. You can see how they act and body language. I would say by the sounds of it he definitely likes you. Go for it!
