So there is this guy I find cute I don’t really like him that much I just find him cute but I kinda had another crush another guy he rejected me and I told this guy I found cute let’s call him nick. I told nick my crush rejected me and he said “nahh… no way” my Friend was with me when it happened and than she told me he said nah no way bc he finds me pretty and he couldn’t believe I actually got rejected? I told her to stop overthinking it but than she told me he finds me pretty and to go for him but I’m not sure if I’m overthinking or whatever

Whether he thinks you're pretty or not, you ARE pretty. You don't need him to confirm this for you.
Regarding his response, he could just be helping you feel better about being rejected. Don't read too much into it.
If he's interested in you, let him approach you, or try flirty banter with him and see how he responds
